I am a Justice of the Peace and John is a robotics engineer from a farming background who has a strong interest in environmental science.
John works from his laptop and Alicia is retired. Responsible and reliable, with police checks and identity verified, we are both vaccinated and with boosters, non- smokers, easy going and reliable.
We do not have our own pets and do not have children.
We have had pets all our lives and have also helped many people select their pet family member as a job. I have volunteered with the Animal Welfare League and we both love all animals and will respect your home.
We know that one of the biggest concerns would be that your house-sitter actually follows through after confirming a house-sit with you. We will only cancel under extreme circumstances and with plenty of notice. To date we have never cancelled a house sit. You can proceed with your holiday plans with peace of mind.
We are able to easily follow directions and will communicate well with you. Your home will be as clean and tidy as you left it, and your pets will be given love and attention.

The housesit was perfect. It exceeded our expectations in every way! The communication was excellent before and during the housesit. Alicia is such lovely person and a wonderful, caring dog lover. Our dogs were thoroughly spoilt, even receiving a dog bath. The house was spotless, and the dogs were healthy and happy. We highly recommend them for any housesitting needs. Alicia and John were amazing and everything you could want when it comes to house sitters. They gave such good care to our fur baby lily. I can tell that lily misses them because she keeps going into the room they stayed in! We returned from our trip to a spotless house and some home made treats which were delicious. I HIT THE JACKPOT!!! I searched high & low and I hit the jackpot with Alicia & John. They have now house sat for me on three occasions this year. The first time was for 7 weeks, the second time was for 1 week and the third time was for another 8 weeks. I felt at ease knowing my little furbaby Ellie was going to be loved and cared for. Alicia and John were amazing house sitters and I would highly recommend them. They stayed in our house for 4 weeks and they took care of our Cavoodle Lolly with so much care and attention. She was so happy and healthy when we returned. Alicia would send us pictures and videos of Lolly and would answer promptly if we had any requests. We couldn’t have asked for better sitters for our pack of four furballs! We are very grateful for the care and attention to detail provided by Alecia and John. We arrived home to find four very happy pooches and the house in better nick than when we left it! It’s a tremendous relief to know that we have found two lovely people we can trust to take care of our home and pups. I hope they will come again, would be nice to get to know them better.

Alicia and john were absolutely fantastic i cant recommend them highly enough and will be requesting their services again next trip. They were super flexible even when my trip was cut short and Kirra loved them.
We chose Alicia and John from a number of applicants and we are so glad we did.
We met up prior to the housesit to go over things that would need attending to in our absence and importantly meeting Rocco our Border Collie.
Alicia and John looked after the place as if it were their own home and Rocco was healthy and happy upon our return. We have already offered them another stint in 2023 if it fits in with their plans and we have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
Alicia and John are the ideal house sitters, they really are the perfect couple for taking the best care of house, garden and pets.
Communication was easy and accurate.
John has a great sense of humour and Alicia is very caring and nurturing.

We engaged Alicia and John to house sit and look after our Bernese Mountain Dog and Golden Retriever for three months. We hit the jackpot! Communication, pre and during our absence, was excellent. Alicia and John took great care of the dogs, house and gardens.
The dogs didnt actually want them to leave which was a good sign.
The house was neat and tidy when we got back and the communication while we were away was great.

Alicia and John were wonderful house sitters, fantastic communication. I felt the dogs were loved and cared for while on our holiday. The house was immaculate when we arrived home plus dinner and desert in the fridge for us after travelling all day. Alicia and John are a delightful couple who took great care of our home and Merlin our cat. They sent regular updates by text and Merlin was very happy and content, he obviously didn't miss us at all! Our cottage was clean and tidy and lunch was waiting for us on our return which was really lovely. We would not hesitate to recomend them to other home owners and would have them back any time if they are available!
Alicia and John were fabulous house sitters. They took excellent care of the house, pool, gardens and most importantly our other member of the family, Ava, a 2 year old spoodle. Alicia is the perfect sitter. Her love for my animals shines through in her nature and her treatment of my fur babies. One of my pets fell ill just before the house sit, but Alicia didn't have any concerns in taking care and medicating my pup. Would definitely contact in the future.
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
