We are traveling around Australia full time with our camper trailer and are in no rush to race around.
We mix free/cheap camping with volunteering and farm/house sitting. Ben works away at sea 4 weeks at a time and then he is home for 4 weeks, so it depends on the timing if he's there for (part of) the sit. I keep busy with volunteering, sits or local jobs.

It's just the two of us and our 14yr old globetrotter dog Yoshi (I brought him over from Europe when I moved here) in our camper trailer.
While we love our trailer very much, we appreciate house sits where we can use the guest bedroom. But we can also stay in our trailer, as long as we have access to a bathroom.

We have experience with all kinds of animals and happy to broaden our horizons. I have a lot of experience working with horses (professionally and as a hobby). And I studied as a vet nurse, so I am comfortable taking care of all kinds of animals and know a bit about injuries and diseases.

Saskia and Ben were wonderful housesitters. Saskia kept in touch throughout with pictures of our two dogs enjoying a few weeks together. I came home to a very happy dog and a spotlessly clean home. Thankyou so much Saskia and Ben, can highly recommend!!!

Saskia is a great reliable house sitter, house garden and more importantly dog and chooks very well cared for. Saskia sent thru photos of her dog and our dog playing together happily which was great to receive. We would welcome Saskia and Ben back any time for house sitting.

Saskia and Ben came to house sit for us and stayed a couple of nights only as our trip away was cancelled due to Cyclone Jasper then the floods. Saskia and Ben were so flexible and understanding and found a house sit elsewhere for that time. However we are looking forward to their return in March to try again! Saskia and Ben house sat for us for three weeks. We found both to be very good commincators, listened to our directions regarding requirements for the house and our dog. Saskia sent through updates on a regular basis with photos of our dog playing with their dog. Upon our return the house was Very clean and tidy and our dog was well looked after and happy. Saskia was very accommodating of a few last minute changes and a good communicator. She kept us informed of weather changes and some minor flooding to the road did not faze her. She took good care of my potplants and kept an eye on our small herd of cattle. I would definitely have Saskia back to stay in our farm unit again after seeing how clean she left it.
