Hello.
We have grown up with and cared for all types of creepies and crawlies and animals. Having raised five children, many a pet has been in our care.
We think it is important to be fit, a non-smoker, and to leave a small footprint on the environment.
Large, medium and tiny animals are no real hassle. Technically minded, security setups etc are no problem.

Over the years we have enjoyed very successful sits involving: cat/dog; cat; farm (Brahmans/dogs/maintenance); dogs/cat/birds; dogs (with medication); dogs; cat; birds; dogs/bird; dogs; goats/dog/cat; dogs/rabbits; llamas/sheep/goats/cat/dogs; cat; dog; cat/dog; dogs/chooks; dogs (Nov 2022); dogs/wombats/possums (Apr 2023)
On a few of the house sits, with approval we have put the dogs in the car to take them to the beach for a good walk on the esplanade and a play on the beach.

On every occasion the people wanted me/us back again.
If required, the previous house sit owners are available for a chat. In that way it will confirm that we were responsible sitters.

By nature we keep our home very clean and tidy, and we are quite eco conscious.
The reason we want to house sit is not for any financial gain in any way (we own our home), but for a bit of a short break in a new area. One week or so would be our max for the right sit.
We are very happy to phone or Skype/messenger etc. since that is often the best way to get to know other people.

Once we come to an agreement, it becomes a commitment.
We consider punctuality in meeting times to be very important for all concerned.
