😊 We are Shae and Yannic, a fun-loving, non-smoking, active-yet-relaxed, tidy and respectful couple who enjoy the simple things in life: travel, nature, running, cooking different vegan recipes, experiencing new cultures, and of course, animals.

Shae is a teacher from South Africa 🇿🇦 who doubles as a mastermind behind getting kids hyped about caring for the environment. She is kind-hearted and feels most herself when at the beach or advocating for social justice causes. It was her lively sense of humour and impressive running skills (no seriously, I'm talking Usain-Bolt-pace) that initially caught Yannic's attention.
Yannic is from Switzerland 🇨🇭 and is a full-time Master's student, completing his degree in International Development online. When he's not busy studying new and creative ways to organise the economy, he enjoys playing guitar and meditating - but don't worry, you won't come back to a house smelling of incense.
Snuggly pet cuddling, fun walks/runs, responsible home security, and poop-scooping are some of our superpowers. We'll make sure your home stays spotless and that your fur babies are adored - it's a genuine joy for us! ❤️ As much as we are for belly laughs, giving belly rubs equally warms our hearts. You can trust that your house and four-legged family members will be well-cared for, while you enjoy your time away without any worries.
Shae and Yannic were fantastic housesitters. Communication was great and we felt very comfortable having them stay in our home. We returned from holiday to a very happy dog, bird and fish. We loved the regular updates and photos. The house was immaculate on return, they went above and beyond. Highly recommend and would welcome them back anytime. Thankyou Shae and Yannic
Shae and Yannic were lovely to work with. Great communication and an update mid-visit and very understanding of my shy cat and her needs. My house was clean, sheets washed and seedlings watered! I'd definitely recommend them both.
Shae and Yannic looked after our 2 pugs and 1 cat for 4 months, which is a long housesit. All of our pets were exceptional looked after, both the pugs need daily medications which wasn't a problem for them. When needed they took the pugs and the cat to their scheduled vet appointments and grooming visits which again wasn't a problem for them. They kept in touch via emails and phone with photos and messages of our pets and any concerns about the house. They included the pugs in their outings to ... MORE
I feel so lucky to have met Shae and Yannic and to have had them as my sitters. I knew they were my people just from talking to them. They took such excellent care of all my creatures (2 dogs, 2 cats and 5 chickens). The love they showed them whilst I was away from home was beyond comparison.
They also expertly handled a small plumbing hiccup whilst I was away and kept me informed along the way.

They sent me regular updates and pics of my 2 dogs while i was away. My house was spotless and my garden weedless when I arrived home. I'd highly recommend them, I think my 2 pups miss all the walks and runs and attention they received ;) thank you so much for taking great care of everything so I could relax and enjoy my time away.
We were so lucky to find Shae. When I wasn’t able to find a sitter I was comfortable with, Shae was flexible and willing to change her schedule to make the dates work. Nothing was a problem for Shae and she always put Harvey and his needs first. Wonderful photos of my happy boy were received that took my stresses away. The house was immaculate when I returned, with all bedding washed and bed remade. You are so lucky to have Shae be your house sitter!
Shae & Yannic were absolutely ideal house-sitters. Amazing communication from the start and a breeze to organise with. We came home to an absolutely spotless home and two very happy dogs (who then spent the rest of the day searching around for Shae & Yannic which is the ultimate compliment!). We were able to leave the house concern-free knowing it was in very capable and kind hands. We would welcome them back in an instant! Thanks again.

Shae and Yannic are absolutely amazing house sitters! They cared for our house and fur babies as if it were theirs. Rhyno and Honey already miss them!

Shae & Yannic did a great job of caring for the house and Riley. They had good communication and their clear enjoyment of Riley made me confident that he was being well cared for. I couldn't ask for more. :)
