Hi, thanks for viewing our profile!

We are an easy going couple from New Zealand. We are life trained, tidy and reliable. Both non smokers.

In early 2022 we sold our home in NZ and spent 7-8 months travelling Australia to see if we liked anywhere enough to settle. We absolutely loved it and now plan to make it our home for the foreseeable future. We have spent quite a lot of time house-sitting now (both in Australia and NZ) and have really enjoyed it. We have met so many neat pets and people - it's been great!

We have owned our own home(s) before so understand the trust and concerns of having other people look after your property. You can be assured that we will look after your house and property as we would our own. That is a promise :) Toby is very practical and handy. He also quite enjoys mowing lawns! Bonus. Tara is a keen gardener and keeps a tidy ship. Having owned several houses we are well versed in handling common issues that can pop up - blocked rains, blown fuses, power cuts etc

We are both pet people and love being around animals. We have had both dogs and cats in the past and have experience pet sitting lots of different animals. Tara loves both cat snuggles and dog walks. Toby is a true cat lover and part time cat whisperer. Together we make a pretty good team! With careful instructions we'll do our very best to make sure your pet is well look after and cared for.

Tara was an absolute delight to have looking after our Luna and home for the Month of September. We came home to a house that was cleaner than when we left, her communication through the entire process was amazing and she was great at sending pics of our fur child regularly while we were away. I couldn’t recommend Tara more highly if you’re looking for someone to look after your house or fur child!

We were very happy with Tara. She looked after our dog and the apartment taking note of all our requirements. Our dog was happy and our home was clean and tidy when we returned. I would recommend Tara as a responsible person who loves pets.

Tara has been the best pet sitter we could've hoped for! This was our first time using a pet sitter and indeed both our fur babies and us have been spoilt. Tara was an exceptional communicator and was reassuring at every step of the journey. Our cats have been well looked after in our absence and the house left in immaculate condition. If you are considering Tara for your next housesit it will be the best decision you make!

Tara was great. Lovely person who i felt very comfortable leaving the dogs with. One had a health issue while she was there and the she handled it very well. Even the vet said how wonderful she was. Tara & Toby were excellent house sitters! We were travelling to a remote location & therefore had little phone service during our time away, however we felt that our house & dog were in very capable hands, and that Tara & Toby could manage things very well on their own. We came home to an immaculate house and our garden & dog had been well taken care of. They are both very easy going & considerate. We highly recommend Tara & Toby as house sitters! The 2 T's....... Tara and Toby...... what a vibrant couple I chose to care for my home for my longest housesit yet. TOBY struggled to do as much as the bubbly Tara, due to an extremely painful issue in his spine, but both my horse and cat immediately took to him, and surprised Tara with his confidence around Missy, the horse. Tara made sure that the houses were both spotless before she allowed herself to leave.... wish she was here all the time!! I wish them well and hope they pass this ... MORE

Tara and Toby were amazing house sitters who we would love to have back anytime. They left the house sparkling clean, sent us regular updates and cooked some pumpkin soup for us to eat after our long flight back from Europe. They also dealt with some car issues for us while we were away and played with our daughter Alba the night before we left so that we could finish packing. Can't rate them highly enough.
