Hi! We're a young couple from Germany, who're back working and housesitting in Australia after a few years back home in Berlin. Vanessa works in human resources. Philip works as a journalist for a German news organization. We both absolutely love animals and have heaps of experience housesitting in Australia, Germany and also once Vietnam. Since some homeowners ask: No, we don't smoke, never have, never will :)
We have done housesitting for several years now and still absolutely enjoy it. We have taken care of 4 fluffy rabits, several cats (all with very different personalities), lots of dogs (also very different) and some chicken as well.
Philip and Vanessa are the best. They looked after my two rescue dogs that can be a lot of work and kept me posted the whole three weeks sending me pictures and videos. They even took one of the dogs to the vet when needed. I wish them the best and I know my dogs already miss them. Thank you guys.

Philip and Vanessa were absolutely wonderful dogs /house sitters. They communicated well and looked after the place superbly. They did have a few problems with fire alarms going off but managed to fix that problem. Unfortunately they encountered a brown snake but saved both my dogs. They stayed calm. Could not recommend anyone better.

Philip and Vanessa were wonderful! This was our first housesitting experience and we were blown away with how delightful it has been. They are responsible and great communicators, obviously taking great care as if the house was their own. They were absolutely fantastic with our 2 dogs - providing daily updates and photos. It was such a relief to find Philip and Vanessa to look after our house and cat for the six weeks we were away overseas. They are extremely friendly people who took great care of things and provided regular updates and photos of the cat. He ended up liking them more than he likes us! They also took great care of our fish and our many indoor plants.
We returned to a spotless house and a happy cat. We would highly recommend Philip and Vanessa as responsible house/pet sitters.
Phil and Vanessa took amazing care of our fur family. They sent us regular updates and took our puppers on a range of adventures. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after our babies. One of them even tried to pack himself when they left
Philip and Vanessa were fabulous house sitters, who I would highly recommend. They took excellent care of my elderly dog (12) and cat (18) and treated them like their own beloved pets. A fabulous young couple! They went above and beyond to provide loving care for our two dogs and our cat. The place was spotless when we got home. They sent regular photographs and videos. The animals loved them and I would recommend Vanessa And Phillip to anybody needing a house sitter.
