CoupleI (Erica) have worked on several farms and landscaping teams periodically since 2014. While farming and Woofing, I have cared for poultry (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese), livestock (goats and horses), and beekeeping. I have extensive knowledge of ornamental and vegetable gardens and am skilled with machinery including line trimmers, hedgers, various mowers.

Hi there!
We are Erica and Ben from the West Coast of Canada.
We have been house-sitting our way around New Zealand for the past year, and now doing the same in Australia. We are experienced house-sitters and have both grown up with cats and dogs.
I (Erica) am an environmental educator and spend my working hours teaching people about plants and animals. I have worked as an educator for non-profit organizations, botanical gardens, and a forest school. At a nature sanctuary, I was responsible for the care of turtles, snakes, toads, newts, fish, and honey bees! While working on various farms, I have also cared for poultry (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese), livestock (goats and horses), and beekeeping. I am an experienced gardener and can easily care for your home garden and keep up with the maintenance required.
My partner, Ben is a graphic designer, musician and resourceful handyman. He designs educational decks of playing cards and works remote contracts for companies around the world (most recently for UNICEF). On his violin, Ben enjoys playing Celtic fiddle and swing jazz.

Erica & Ben were wonderful housesitters. They took fantastic care of Lexi & Kaya while we were away. Ben got handy in the kitchen and I was lucky enough to be left a jar of his Crispy chilli oil when they left! Delicious! We absolutely recommend them to housesit and would happily have then back anytime. Thankyou guys for taking such great care of our girls & home ❤️❤️
Ben and Erica were amazing house sitters. They looked after the house and our plants perfectly, and were incredibly attentive to our cats, as well as keeping in touch with us and sending lots of lovely updates. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Ben and Erica are superb housesitters, looking after both my house and my dog wonderfully well. Sal absolutely adored them, and looked happy, fit and well on my return. The house was very clean and tidy, with lovely flowers, wine and a meal ready for me.

Ben and Erica are fantastic house sitters - considerate, caring, responsible and great communicators. As a collie, they made sure Bonnie got plenty of exercise even on cold winter days. After 5 weeks away we could see when we got back that Bonnie was very well looked after and had formed a bond with them. They always informed us of any issues that came up and gave us weekly updates and photos of Bonnie. We would absolutely have them house sit again.
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
