Lee & Larry

Larry and I are a New Zealand retired professional couple (non smoking) who have enjoyed sailing around the world. We have twice sailed from the Med to New Zealand the first time in 2016-2018, and again after covid in 2021-2023.

We are now based at home in New Zealand but want to do some land travel around Australia, whilst also visiting family that live in Australia.

We have had 15+ house sits in New Zealand, Cyprus and Serbia. Many of our New Zealand house sits we have done multiple sits for, and consider many of our house sits now friends.

Before we left NZ in 2016 , we puppy walked for the Royal NZ Guide Dog Services for over 12 years, and successfully graduated 9 puppies that went onto become working guide dogs.

Prior to embarking on our sailing life, we lived for 10 years on a 12 acre lifestyle block on the coast of Whangarei. We have raised many farm animals, including Indian runner ducks, chickens, sheep and steers. For several years we had a couple of horses that we rode. We have also had tropical fish, cats and birds (including looking after my mother's cockatoo when she went on holiday). We also ran an Air BnB on our property, welcoming and looking after guests who stayed in our sea shore cottage.

We will love and care for your pets and home as if they were our own. We have both been to Australia (Qld & NSW) often, therefore we will not need to be sight seeing so would be at home caring for your pets for most of the day.
