Lily & Grady

Hi everyone,

My partner Grady and I are looking for options for 2024 as we travel our way around Australia with not too many fixed plans at this stage. We are generally looking at staying in QLD at the moment but would be open to other options on the East Coast as we love our fishing. We are originally from Rockhampton and have been on the road since April 2023.

We have gained house sitting experience locally from friends and family and have recently completed a whole 5 months in Darwin where we worked full time and house sat across 5 different properties during our stay. We have experience with dogs, cats, chickens and birds but are open to looking after any animals.

We have worked lined up in the Mackay region from around the 11th April until the 19th May but currently have no fixed commitments after this.

We have both grown up with animals and are definitely missing them whilst we are on the road travelling Australia so we are more than happy to look after any pets. We are also happy to complete any pool maintenance, gardening or general house maintenance that may need doing.

Grady is a refrigeration mechanic with ABN and insurances and we are happy to discuss any potential paid work you may need done around your property such as aircon cleaning or installation. We would also be happy to complete other little maintenance jobs such as painting or basic renovations as we are both quite handy as we have experience renovating our own home in Rockhampton.

We are currently travelling in a roof top tent and canopy set up. We also have a 4m tinny in tow so would need somewhere for this to live. We’re open to different length of sits and if they are over 4 weeks we would likely look at getting some casual employment in the area to help fill our days.
