  • I have maintained a clean and organized home, including but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms/sinks/showers daily. Provided care for pets in the house while owners were away by feeding them at appropriate times and providing fresh water as needed. Kept track of pet medications and ensured that they are given on time. Carried out any other duties assigned by the owner such as watering plants or bringing in mail when necessary. Communicated with owners throughout the day regarding their pets' behavior and general well-being via phone calls or text messages if possible.

Juan effectively communicated with us throughout the stay and beforehand. He was a very tidy and respectful houseguest. In terms of pet care, we don’t believe he has the experience for large, high-energy, high-maintenance dogs. Juan was able to adhere to the feeding and medication requirements our dog has, however he showed some discomfort with dealing with the amount of excitement (jumping) our dog displayed at certain times of the day. This was our first time using Aussie House Sitters so we were a little nervous about the whole thing, especially because we have a senior dog who can be needy! But Juan made this whole process so simple and put any of our concerns at ease. He is a lovely and kind person, his communication before and during the time we were away was amazing, he sent us updates with pictures throughout. He left our house very clean and tidy too! We would like to just let the world know that Leyla and Juan are the best. They moved into our home and looked after our Zeke so so well. They are a gorgeous couple and Zeke was so well cared for. Lots of walks, lots of cuddles and lots of attention. Zeke is an easy dog to care for and I believe he was a little spoilt whilst we were away but we didn't mind.
