  • Grew up on a cattle property with horses, dogs, cats, chooks. Later owned our own hobby farm, with the same clientele, except no cats! I have done several sits involving farm animals.

70, Retired midwife

I'm a dead honest, born again Christian lady, needing the odd break from my own patch. Non smoker. Non drinker. No drugs stronger than tea. I have gardened all my life, and owned cattle, horses, dogs, chooks. I have been on AUSSIE house sitters for a number of years prior to the Pandemic, and have never had a bad review. At this point in my life, no pulling or unstable dogs please.
Also please note that I do not have pets in my bedroom. They need their own place to sleep.
I like to do some sewing, so I travel with my electric sewing machine and current project.
My husband, Stephen, does not do sits with me, but may visit. I also may need to go home to water my garden on some days, if my sit is close to home. I would love short or longer term sits in Toowoomba or close by, eg Highfields, Cambooya, Crowsnest. The bush is a very attractive option!
I will also do garden watering in Toowoomba, for $25 per episode, if a normal sized garden. That would be $75/week for 3 episodes. Bigger gardens by negotiation.

Ursula house sat for us in January for a week. We have a property with Cattle, chooks and domestic animals and we were in the midst of a drought. Prior to leaving we met Ursula and immediately felt comfortable with her. Ursula took notes and our dog Raffi warmed to her during the initial visit. Ursula has been an efficient and reassuring communicator with incredible attention to detail. Our dogs have a number of requirements including medication and some leash reactivity which was handled with calmness, giving us every confidence. Thank you for looking after our home and dogs! Very happy with the sit Ursula did for our home and pets. Daily communication was very helpful, we enjoyed knowing our animals were relaxed. Came home to a very tidy house and all the washing was done, thank you !!!! Would certainly recommend Ursula and have her sit for us again

We are so grateful for the way in which Ursula cared for our home and pets. We have fussy felines who were quite content with our lovely host. Ursula Came out a week or so before the sit to meet and greet us and our pets as well as to take notes on our requirements. She stayed in touch and sent a photo of our purr-fect purring pussycats. We highly recommend Ursula to care for your house sitting needs.

Thankyou Morag. I should add that I had Morag's mobile no, & could contact her at any time, day or night, if there were any problems with the fish, or any other aspect of the sit. I did use this for reassurance a couple of times, and I always received an immediate answer, which I appreciated.
