Jewel & Quinn

Kia Ora! Jewel Kennedy and Quinn O’Brien from New Zealand! We are a young, mature couple bursting to set out on many exciting adventures. We are currently residing in a granny flat in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty NZ where we have been situated for over 3 years. We are actively planning to relocate to Australia by the end of July/beginning August and we would be grateful to care for your home and your animals whilst we settle into a new country. Jewel is working full time in a law firm as a Estates Administrator and Quinn is working full time for a laser company as an Inventory Stock Controller / Product Assistant. We are humble, like-minded and responsible people. We do not smoke nor drink heavily. We will not be travelling with any pets, or any furniture other than our suitcases!

We both adore pets, but our current rental does not allow animals. Together we have accompanied Jewel’s mother with a few house sits that her mother is on call for locals in NZ. At all of these homes there have been animals to look after (dogs and cats). We have experience in that aspect, as well as having experience sitting for family members and growing up with animals. Previously Jewel did dog walking jobs to earn money from ages 13-15.

A bit about us!

🗺️ Vacations & exploring – spends any free time soaking up the outside world. Recently taken two trips to Australia this year staying in Airbnb’s.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧Friends, family & animals – we are huge lovers of our friends and family. We share our love and passion for pets. Anytime is a good time to cuddle the fluffy ones.

🏃🏼‍♀️ Physically active – Jewel is a runner. Often participates in running events and prioritises running in early hours of the morning. Both Jewel and Quinn go to the gym.

🧩 Creativity – both enjoy our board games and online games after a long day, this is how we can relax.

🏡 House proud – we do our best to maintain a clean and tidy home. Our home is a peaceful place for all comers. We are great on communicating and show excellent dedication.

👩🏼‍🌾 (Jewel) Avid gardener – enthusiastic about growing and caring to my own supply of fruits and vegetables. This is a place for me to get away and is a task that I enjoy
