I've been incredibly fortunate to care for people's homes and beloved pets, for over 15 years. I have over 30 positive reviews on my profile, amassed over the past 36 months since I've been a part of the AHS community. I have a few families in Sydney who book me regularly each year, a testament to my service.
I begun house/pet care when I was managing fashion business for 13 years. I would be away on buying trips and trade shows so house/pet sitting made sense and was complimentary to my work and lifestyle.
I've worked as a house/pet sitter within Australia and Internationally. I've looked after remote rural properties in beautiful Spain, Morocco, and the UK. Closer to home I've sat for families and individuals from Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, regional NSW, regional Victoria and Far North Queensland.
I've cared for many wonderful fur babies, and farm animals in both remote locals, suburban and regional homes, and inner-city apartments. I have an updated police check with SA police and my references mentioned above.
I love all animals, and I have a personal affiliation with cats. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds, plus horses, pigs, donkeys, sheep, peacocks, and a variety of farm animals and caged birds... all with success. I'm super meticulous around the home, as my many references support.
I'm patient, healthy, peaceful, respectful, capable and friendly. I enjoy tending veggie patches, also basic gardening and pool maintenance. I'm also available to manage holiday accommodations, with Airbnb experience, handy if you don't want to close your business while you're travelling. I simply ask for the cleaning fee for any Airbnb work, and you of course retain your booking fee.
My usual approach prior to booking a sit is a video chat, and if circumstances allow- I like to meet you and your pets in person prior to any confirmation. I do ask for concise and informative home and pet care notes, these are important prior to the sit where possible, along with mutual ID exchange with your Housesit address visible. I'm a mature-age, full-time student, studying online. Thus, your pets are my priority as I'm generally around the house, not often out and about.

Monique was tremendously caring and generous in looking after our cats. Monique went above and beyond the call of duty in diligently looking after one of our kitties when he came down with cat flu during her stay. She was very communicative and clean and responsible as always. It was a life saver having Monique around while we were away.

It was obvious from the outset that Monique absolutely adores animals. We received lots of messages and photos about how the cats were doing while we were away, which was great. Both the furries were pretty chilled when we got home. Always a good sign.

Monique looked after our Moodle, Jaspa, while we were on holidays. Jaspa is a very nervous and anxious dog and we couldn't have found anyone more understanding than Monique. She was so patient with him. It took a couple of days, but Monique persevered and won him over. She sent updates which is appreciated and we returned to a calm, happy little dog. Monique came and looked after our Kiama beach house for 7 days in October 2023. Monique is an experienced house sitter, and she truly loved our two cats and got to know their funny personalities and eating rituals. We were thrilled that Monique was able to look after our home and robust dog, Ollie, while we were away for three months. We were very lucky to have Monique look after our Cavoodle Dori. Monique was very attentive and caring. We were given regular pictures and updates during our holiday. She even took Dori to the vet as she wasn’t well which was very much appreciated. House was immaculate when we returned. Would highly recommend Monique to anyone looking for a great sitter.

It was great to have Monique house/dog sit for me. The communication was daily with lots of photos. Lola seemed to be having the time of her life! Monique was an absolute angel and cared for our pets and home as if it were her own. She took great care and responsibility caring for and training our 6 month old puppy Shanti and providing love for our older cat. We were extremely happy with how well Monique looked after our house and cat and would recommend her to anyone. She sent us regular updates throughout the week which made us feel very reassured as our cat is very old (19 yo) and a little high needs at times! The house was absolutely immaculate on our return, cleaner and tidier than how we left it. We would love to have Monique back to house sit for us next time we go away.
Monique is an exceptional housesitter - she is ridiculously tidy and clean and she is so beautiful with animals. What a wonderful house/pet sitter she is. She was very attentive to our pets and sent regular photographs. She took great care of our home during one of the worst storms. Monique is a wonderful cat/house sitter. She cared for my 2 kits for over a week. She really cares for them and their welfare. She sent lots of photos as I was missing them terribly. I also returned to a lovely tidy home.
