CoupleWe have lived on our own small farm for 25 years where we bred horses and chickens and kept all types of domestic animals. We are both from farming backgrounds and John worked closely with farmers in animal health and rural produce so has a wealth of knowledge in this area. We love all animals.

We are active and responsible professionals, recently retired and loving exploring this vast and beautiful country after many years of career and family commitments .
We are both fastidious and diligent people will look after your home and animals as if they were our own.
We have recently sold our 30 acre farm where we had our own brood of chooks, horses, dogs and cats over the years.
John is an incredibly handy man with a wealth of farming knowledge who can take his hands to most things. He has good working knowledge of pools, pumps, bores and fences.
I love pottering in the garden and keep a neat, clean and tidy house and am passionate about nature and all animals.
We both love to keep fit and healthy, are non-smokers and will be very happy to walk your dog as much as he/she wants!
We are currently travelling with our 8yo golden retriever girl. She is trained as a therapy dog, very well behaved and chilled. She has been brought up on our farm so gets on well with all other animals including poultry (sometimes we think there is some Maremma in her as she will just sit amongst the chooks as if protecting them for hours.)
She is well socialised with other dogs and has grown up with two house cats.

Helen and John were absolutely amazing looking after our property and animals. We had no issues at the house was lovely and clean when we got home. Communication was really easy. Would definitely get them again if they are available .

John & Helen were just fantastic - the pets and other animals were happy and well tended and everything in ship shape when we got home which was lovely. We highly recommend them & certainly will be asking them back on our next break!! Fingers crossed they'll be available!
So grateful to Helen and John for taking care of our farm and Gracie. Willow is a beautiful calm dog. We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing they were taking care of everything.
Helen and John along with their beautiful dog Willow looked after our home and fed the wild birds while we were away for a week. They left the house clean and tidy and the birds had no complaints either.
