We require a house and pet sitter. We live in a small country town in between Port Fairy and Hamilton. We are 45 mins from Warrnambool and Portland and the Grampians. There is so much to see and do from our doorstep. We have a Burmese male cat called Samuel and 2 chickens to be loved and fed. Your pets must be friendly and good with cats and had exposure to chickens. You will have your own bedroom if required, and access to all facilities there is plenty of room for your van with water and electricity if required. We live on just over half an acre, boasting a lovely garden and a producing vegetable garden. If there is no rainfall the garden will require watering. Potted plants will require watering at least 3 times a week. Anything you can pick is yours to eat and of course the free range eggs. We request that you let the chickens out of the pen in the morning and clean the nesting box. The chooks will normally tuck themselves up on dusk and you can lock the door on them to keep them safe from foxes.
Sam is predominately an indoor cat, you will have his litter box to clean daily. He is not one to be picked up and held, if he wants some love he will come to you. He is a very cheeky boy and does not like to be over stimulated, he will bite. He does have a GPS tracker that can be put on him to go out the front of the house for exercise. He is happy to entertain himself during the day if you are not home. He has a playpen on the verandah.
