Hello,
My name is Chanel. I am a teacher. I was working in China for TAFE for over 4 years but moved back to live in Brisbane in April 2019.

I just love the concept of helping out, connecting with people and of course, I am a real animal lover!

When I first joined this website I was very mobile and used to have a camper van but post-Covid, or let’s say nowadays, I have my own place and work from home a few days a week, marking IELTS writing papers and travel into the CBD to work at a call centre for the deaf community.

I am naturally responsible and tend to be organized. I really like any kind of animal as I grew up with dogs, cats and horses around me.

Lots of experience up the sleeve. I completed my first sit in Mango Hill in February 2015 looking after a wonderful Siamese cat. Then, from December to January 2016 I did 3 petsits: one in Mackay, and one in Stafford Heights and another in Ellen Grove.

I hadn't been so active on this website until this year as I haven’t really had the time but would love to be able to care for someone's beloved pet in the near future.

Chanel was amazing with our dogs and looked after our home like it was her own. Our dogs had daily walks and spoiling leaving us feeling very comfortable and at peace that our dogs were well taken care of. Chanel was very communicative and flexible throughout the stay accepting deliveries in our absence.

It was so good to now that I had chosen a suitable sitter when I chose Chanel. In fact, I knew fairly quickly that she would be the right choice. Chanel minded my house, three cats and toy poodle for over 2 weeks while I was on my just-ended holiday to Italy, which was cut short because of Coronavirus restrictions. Chanel emailed updates, managed the gang superbly, gracefully accommodated my early return, and coped with unexpected plumbing problems too. She is utterly dependable, and I only hope that she will consent to housesit for me again in the future despite the irregularities she had to endure.

I came home and Chanel had kept the garden watered which was good. But she hadn't done a lick of housework the whole month, she said she had but the place was filthy and I had to spend several hours cleaning the kitchen and her bathroom, vacuuming, etc. When I queried it she said she had been sick which I thought was a poor excuse. She seemed like a nice person but obviously takes no pride in other peoples' homes and is definitely not recommended

Chanel was amazing to have in our home and to take care of our dogs. The house was clean, the dogs and plants were happy, so could not ask for anything more!! She was great with communication and letting us know how things were going with the dogs. I would highly recommend her to take care of anyone's home and pets!
