Hi, I'm Jane. I live in Canberra with my adult daughter, Eliza. I like to housesit every now and then because sometimes, it's nice to have some time to myself! I also like to help others out so they can travel.

I am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 2. I work full time in the Public Service, and I also run a micro flower farm. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I love travel, crochet, classical music, flowers, volunteer work and spending time with family and friends. I can work from home or take leave to housesit.

I am very happy to take special care of pets, homes and gardens and I hold a current Working with Vulnerable People card. I am honest, reliable, house proud, clean and tidy and will treat your home and pets like my own. I can provide character references from the many homeowners I have sat for in the past.

I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish and chickens, and a pigeon called Pearl! Some of these pets required daily medication and injections. I regularly housesat with my friend from 2015 - 2018 before buying a farm which was sold last year.

I have an elderly mother, and a sister my age, who I would occasionally like to invite to housesit with me, if acceptable.

No rating Jane and Jay housesat our house and saluki dog Paddy in Hughes for 10 weeks from 24th May 2017. They are extremely reliable, great people and did a fabulous job, especially Jay and his spoiling of Paddy. We can highly recommend them.

Jane was lovely to deal with throughout. She kindly came to meet our pets before we went away and updated us with photos which we loved. We got home to happy animals and a spotless house. We would happily have Jane sit for us again and recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and responsible person to care for their home/pets while away.

Jane and Jay were terrific housesitters and looked after my house and pets for 3 weeks. Their communication was perfect - brief little updates/photos - and upon return home the house was immaculate and the dogs & cat happy and content. I would thoroughly recommend them and couldn’t have been happier for my first house sitting experience. I hope in the future to find such wonderful sitters (if Jane & Jay are unavailable)
