Hello! My name is Abi. I'm a software engineer from the UK where I live currently. I work for an Australian company and spent three months working from Australia early this year in 2024 and I'm excited to return at the end of December. I have a housesit confirmed for January but am available to housesit in Sydney from Sunday 26 January until March/April 2025. I work remotely so can spend lots of time with your pets :)

My experience looking after pets is extensive and varied. From a young age, I have cared for friend's dogs and cats, and throughout university I did a lot of dog-walking and dog-sitting in the dog's homes. Spending time as a nanny and househelp also required me to respect and care for the home that I was living in.

Since then, my pet-sitting experience varies from dog-sitting small, medium and large dogs and cat-sitting through Trusted Housesitters , Aussie Housesitters, Borrow My Doggy and Rover. I have also looked after fish, chickens and tortoises. I have experience with, and am confident, looking after multiple animals at one time.

Whilst looking after your pet and home, I take extra care to follow any instructions you give me whilst also having the confidence and experience to make decisions on the fly. I will send you updates as often as you would like without inundating you.
