Murrumbateman NSW NSW

We live in an estate 5 minutes from the town of Murrumbateman in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. It is on the Barton Highway, approximately 30 kilometers north-west of Canberra, and 15 minutes to Yass. It's situated in the Canberra district cool climate wine region, with more than 20 boutique wineries. We have most amenities in town including service station and grocer, chemist/post office, doctors, dentists, restaurants, pub, take away, & cafes. There are community events and local markets.

Our house in Murrumbateman sits on 2 acres. It is separated into zones, back courtyard & entertaining, front garden, back garden, side garden, chicken & orchard yard & a paddock. It's the perfect lifestyle property for you to relax and enjoy your Christmas break. Enjoy a dip in the pool, a soak in the spa or sauna. Finish your day with a BBQ and a glass of wine from your trips to our local wineries :)

Garden care - watering and perhaps some mowing depending on how fast the grass grows using the ride on mower. I would not expect weeding of the garden beds, but if you get enjoyment from weeding, please be assured I would encourage you to go for it!

We do have bin collection in the estate and postal mail.

Pet care
1. We have 2 alpacas in the back paddock that love snacks and topping up their water from the tank provided.
2. We have 5 chickens that also love kitchen scraps, top up their water. They get locked up at night before dark (we do have foxes around) and let out in the morning to roam the orchard.
3. We have 1 golden retriever who is mostly outdoors in the courtyard garden but does love a run in the main back yard when we tend to the chickens & alpacas. She does not like walking on the lead. She is on medication for anxiety so needs some special care.
4. We have 3 cats. 1 indoor and 2 outdoor. The indoor cat is a grumpy old ragdoll. The 2 outdoor tabbies' have an enclosure in the garage and an enclosure outside in the sunshine. They are put away at night.
