Mount Berryman QLD

Two lovable and well loved kelpie dogs - Velvet black and tan) and Leather (silver) - live here and enjoy the run of the place. They sleep inside at night.

There are 9 peafowl (4 boys and 5 girls) and a female brush turkey that are wild but will eat from your hand. They sleep in the nearby trees and can be noisy.

The property is 40 acres with about 5 acres of tidied area. I live in a nicely furnished, air conditioned 4 room shed. The large bedroom has a queen and a king bed. A second bedroom has 2 single bunks and a queen bed. The bathroom has bath/shower, basin, toilet and washing machine. The kitchen is fully functional and has a dishwasher.

There is an undercover outdoor area with a heated swim spa.

There are also 3 other self contained cabins on the property and these will be unoccupied during the house sit.

The 2 closest towns with all amenities is Laidley, a 25 min drive and Gatton is 30 minutes in the other direction.

Forest Hill is 20 mins - A cute mini town with 2 pubs and 4 eating places but no supermarket.

I am 1.5 hours west of Brisbane, 1 hour from Toowoomba and 1 hour from Ipswich.

There is a 4WD available for your use.

These are the days I’m flying in and out of Brisbane. You are welcome to come a few days earlier and stay a few days later in one of the cottages onsite.
