Regional NSW - Central West Slopes
YVONNE
Our 4 bedroom home of almost 20 years is located less than 10kms east of the Dubbo CBD on 6.5 acres in a lifestyle estate. We do not have any livestock; we just love our space and privacy.
Our home has reverse cycle heating and cooling, it is well insulated. We have modern appliances. The house is on one level. We are both in our early 70s and find this an easy house to live in and the terrain very friendly.
We are connected to both town and tank water and a septic system, Discharge grey water, is used for watering. we have a series of sprinklers which can be easily moved. Services to our property include mail delivery, garbage collection weekly and recycling fortnightly.
We have a reliable wifi connection available and we have both worked from home at some point, so this would be suitable for any WFH applicants. There is a good office space.
Dubbo is a growing regional town with the famous Western Plains Taronga Zoo amongst other local tourist attractions. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants but not in walking distance.
The closest shopping centre is Orana Mall which has supermarkets and variety stores, about 7kms. Also nearby is another complex which includes Bunnings, Petbarn and a boutique brewery and restaurant, the closest eating out option, as well as fast food outlets such as McDonalds and KFC .
Dubbo has a new Base Hospital, (7Kms), servicing the greater western region, an RFDS base and a busy airport serviced by both Qantas and Rex airlines , There is also a rail station with a daily XPT service to Sydney.
Our pets, two miniature schnauzers, female 10yrs and male 7yrs, are house dogs and very much enjoy human company. For this reason we would expect our house sitter/s to be home every night overnight but they are fine to be left at home through the day. If you are confident with taking dogs for a walk and enjoy a morning walk they are happy to go with you, but this is not a requirement for the sit. They have a good sized fenced back yard. You need to be a dog lover as they are the motivation for finding a house sitter. They are very valued fur family members. They would be clipped and groomed just prior to your arrival and would just need a brush. They are both obedient dogs and come when called but we do not let them put of the fenced yard off lead. They are aways on lead out of the yard. They are both fully vaccinated, have an annual vet check and would be left in good health. They are both registered with a local vet practice.
Normally May and June require very little yard maintenance and very minimal watering of pot plants. Watering would be on an ad hoc basis.
We are keen to lock in a sitter as soon as possible, someone who will be here every night overnight. Please get in contact if you think this might suit you.
