Our house is located on a quiet and safe 3 acre semi-rural property on the south-eastern outskirts of Queanbeyan / Canberra. It is 10 mins drive to the nearest shop and 30 minutes from the center of Canberra city. Up to two double bedrooms will be available if required - one of which is a dedicated guest bedroom. The property has a large in-ground salt water heated pool and a spa pool. If you decide to use the pool you will need to do some basic maintenance - put on robot, check chlorination level and scoop leaves. There is also a large outdoor entertainment area with BBQ and wood fired pizza oven. There is minimal garden care - maybe just picking anything that is ready in the vegie patch. Pet care is 3 chickens and one cat. We may wish to leave our two dogs (older Jack Russell's) but will discuss when we know if we can take them or not. The cat and chickens really only need once a day attention and the dogs can be left during the daytime (if we leave them) leaving you plenty of free time. House has unlimited WiFi, A/C in the main rooms and a smart TV. Ideally you'll have a vehicle to get around as public transport can be a little complicated from here. Plenty of parking on-site if you needed to park a van. We will be about 3 hours away at our other property in the Snowy Mountains, but have family in town if any issues arise. The location is great to explore the Canberra region from, and the coast at Batemans Bay is great for a day trip at about 2 hours drive each way. Note that Canberra is fairly quiet at this time of year as the locals tend to head to the coast.
