We are a friendly & reliable married couple in our 40’s & have recently moved from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. House/Pet sitting is an excellent way for us to get to know the beautiful Sunny Coast before we choose an area to settle in. We have included some pics of some of the furry friends we have met along the way.
❤ Kelly: I have been a clinical nurse for over 20 years working in & managing busy wards & hospitals. These days I now predominately work from home part-time, in an advisory role. My passion is caring for people & animals with compassion & cuddles (for furry friends). I am very organised with attention to details & like a thorough handover before you set off on your travels. I can confidently care for cats & dogs that require medications or diabetic monitoring.
🛠 Luis: Is a very experienced mobile automotive mechanic & can fix just about anything. Luis has always taken pride in our garden & gets a great deal of satisfaction making sure the garden is thriving. He enjoys cooking, he is very fit & participates in CrossFit classes & competitions. Be assured that if you have an active dog, he/she will always be walked.

Due to our jobs & previous volunteer work we both have National Police Certificates, we are Australian citizens, with our own vehicle & are non-smokers. We have both grown-up with family pets & are very caring & responsible pet owners. Our pets have always been considered as beloved members of our family.
We have a high standard of cleanliness & keep an immaculate but comfortable home. We pride ourselves on having open honest & transparent communication, with the utmost respect for your home & privacy. We are mindful of water & energy consumption & eco-friendly sustainable properties.

To ensure you have total peace of mind we like to meet you, your home & your pet in person prior to your departure date, to make sure we are the right fit for each other. Kelly and Luis were absolutely amazing! We had 2 fur babies here as well as our 3 cats , when we arrived home all the animals were happy and joyful. The house was as if no one had been here and the communication they held while we were away was impeccable. Would definitely recommend them to anyone going away and will definitely be having them back in the future.
Kelly and Luis are very professional and well organised which suited us very well. They looked after our little dogs and our house for over two weeks and we never had a concern, keeping us up to date with photos of happy dogs. On their departure they left a handover list and a lovely bunch of flowers and fresh food and milk for us. Very thoughtful. Thank you.
Being the first time we have left our house and big Rottweiler Bear in the hands of anyone but family I have to say we are completely blown away by what an amazing experience Kelly & Luis have given us. The communication was flawless with updates on how Bear was going and lots of pictures. A seamless departure and arrival and a thorough hand over once we got home. Kelly and Luis minded my home, a shy cat and 3 chickens, for 3 weeks. They were reliable, communicated well, and pleasant to deal with. My animals were well looked after, all my plants were in good conditions, and the house was left spotless. It was great to have the grass mown and edges tidied despite a very wet stay, which made such tasks a bit tricky. I was back late in the day, and after a long trip home, it was lovely to have some staples left me to have supper and breakfast the next day.

This was our second time having Kelly and Luis house sit for us. As before the house was immaculate when we returned, Kelly had left a fruit platter and zucchini slice in the fridge for us when we returned which was very much appreciated! Our cat was very well looked after and communication was great, Kelly sent photos and a weekly report so we knew everything was going well. I can highly recommend Kelly & Luis and would definitely book them again for any upcoming trips if they are available.
Kelly and Luis were easy to communicate with from the start and maintained that openness all throughout their week long housesit for us. They made sure to lock up and feed the animals upon our late return home and left some very thoughtful gifts and even kinder words.
The house was immaculate and smelt amazing upon our return; with all linen and even extra washing done - certainly above and beyond what was expected.

Kelly and Luis were wonderful as our pet sitters. Our pets were well looked after, with daily walks and many treats. Kelly would send me weekly updates about our fur babies and the house & garden. We came home to a very clean house, and they even left us some well appreciated staples in the fridge that we enjoyed after our long flight back home.

never not impressed with this beautiful couple. kelly and her partner prove time and time again this is why we continue to use them for our house sitting. We never have an issue with them, our anxious dogs are always calm and happy when they come to stay. kelly keeps us up todate with photos of our fur babies and it always puts us at ease. we will continue to have kelly and her partner for our future trips

Kelly and Luis did a great job looking after our cat. He can be temperamental but they managed to get him settled and used to having new people look after him. The house was immaculate when we returned including a lovely bunch of flowers! Communication was good, Kelly sent photos and asked questions when required. Was very concerned when booking our holiday as to who was going to look after our dogs and house. Met Kelly & Luis and felt comfortable straight away. One of our dogs is a rescue so we are always careful with who we choose to look after her. She took a liking to both Kelly & Luis when they came for a meet and greet.
