Due to the pandemic we retired early and are now in our late 50s and early 60s.
We grew up in Scotland, and lived and worked in Sydney Australia between 1996 and 2014, and are both Australian citizens. We were pulled back to the UK in 2014 due to family needs.
Having explored Europe for 8 years we returned to Australia in July 2022. We love our daily walks, swimming, playing golf and traveling and have both worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Sydney and UK.
Whilst back in the UK we have continuously owned our flat in Edinburgh and rented 2 properties in Marlow and Lymington where we received positive feedback when moving on. Prior to moving back to the UK we owned our house at Warriewood beach.
We both love dogs and they were a big part of our life during our 18 years on Sydney's Northern Beaches, we had 4 large dogs, boxer cross, american bulldog, lab rottweiler cross and staffy cross.
On returning to Australia we have thoroughly enjoyed getting back into the Aussie lifestyle and discovering new places and beautiful pets through our house sits.
Claire and Jim were amazing sitters. From the very first conversation through to the end of the sit they were a delight. The house and the pets were well cared for, and we had lots of communication while we were away to keep us up to date and set our minds at ease.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Claire and Jim to anyone requiring house and/or petsitters.

Was wonderful having experienced house sitters look after our home and dog. Communication was great prior to and during the sit. We got regular updates and photos of our dog which we loved. Claire and Jim were very responsive to our requests. They were very open to meeting prior to the sit so we could introduce them to our dog Indi and show them around our home. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
It was our first time having a house sitter and we hit the jackpot with Claire & Jim. They flew to Hobart a few days before we left for our holiday and it was like we had known them for years. They made our trip stress free and sent regular updates on Tilly and we were so happy that Tilly loved them and they loved Tilly. We certainly struck the jackpot by finding Claire and Jim to house-sit for us. They more than cared for Pippi they loved and adored her and sent many photos and updates about their activities. The house was sparkling clean when we arrived home from a long-haul flight and they had checked to see if we needed any groceries. The neighbours loved them so much that they invited them out to dinner. You can't go wrong with Claire and Jim, they are an absolute delight!
Claire and Jim were wonderful house-sitters. They stayed in our place for one month, looked after our beloved pooch and ensured our plants survived in our absence.
They are excellent communicators, our dog loved them and the house was just as we left it when we returned.

Thx Claire, I was so grateful that we felt we could go away and know that Stella and the house were well looked after, we know when Stella finds a piece of clothing of the person looking after her and takes it onto the bed with her that they are doing a great job.

Jim and Claire made an immediate positive impression when we first spoke to them over the phone. They made the effort to come and visit us prior to the sit. We found them to be caring, compassionate and trustworthy. They allowed us to go on holidays knowing our two "fur babies" were in excellent hands and our house too. We hope to be able to catch-up with them in the future. Highly recommend them.
I cannot say enough about Claire and Jim.. Wonderful couple who could not have done more to make me feel at ease leaving my beloved animals in their care . Constant contact whilst away. Claire & Jim looked after our house & kelpie for over 2 months while we were overseas. I cannot speak more highly of them. Our doggy wanted for nothing, receiving the attention, care, love & consideration of genuine dog lovers & experienced pet carers. The house was immaculate when we returned. There were some unexpected challenges over the period of their stay, which they handled with the consideration of all concerned and clear, wise judgement.
