Dennis & Kate

Kate and I are lifelong animal lovers. Dennis raised every pet imaginable when he was a child, and grew up in a family that treasured the companionship of cats. Kate was influenced by her Father’s love of dogs. When she was a child, he took fostered as many dogs as he could. When we were pursuing careers, our lifestyle was best suited to the love and attention of cats, and we raised two sweet ones (Lucy & Socks) when we lived in Perth during the 1990’s. As soon as it made sense, we brought two wonderful chocolate Labradors (Molly and Isla) into our family. Raising them from puppyhood, they became the center of our lives. We gained a world of experience feeding, training, loving, traveling with, and playing with them from puppyhood to end-of-life.
We are mature and very responsible. We are very attentive dog parents who will take care of and love on your pets like they were our own. We are both very active and will have no trouble giving your pets all the exercise and play they need. We are very comfortable with handling injuries and illnesses, and administering medicine. We also have decades of experience taking care of the houses we have owned in Australia and the US, and will take great care of yours. We can handle most any problem that might crop up. We keep a clean and tidy house, and will return yours to you looking just like what you left, or better! We are avid gardeners and will be happy to look after yours. We have never smoked and do not take drugs of any kind, except wine and coffee. Should we sit for you, we will be happy to keep you up to date with reports and photos of what is happing at home and with your pets.
