Single40, Organisational Change Manager (WFH) and professional pet and house sitter

Hi home owners! My name is Emma, I recently moved from the Sunny Coast and have been blessed to be sitting professionally for over 3 years here whilst settling in and exploring Brissie. My love for animals, the companionship and sitting experience has been so wonderful I haven’t stopped!
I absolutely love animals, I grew up with 3 beautiful dogs (Kelpie Big red, Border Collie Ollie, and Cavoodle Theo) and a cat Deanos and spent a lot of time on my grandparents farm surrounded by animals. I am fortunate to be able to work remotely from home in my corporate role in Change Management so I am home with your pets everyday. The only time I am generally out of the house is for a few hours a week when at the yoga/pilates studio or visiting family.
When I look after animals they are given all the attention, care and companionship every pet deserves with morning and afternoon walks, cuddles, affection and quality playtime. You can rest easy and enjoy your trip knowing I have the experience, training and responsibility to ensure your loved one(s) get the absolute best care, love and attention whilst you are away. I touch base daily with pics and videos to shorten the distance away from missing your loved one.
I have experience sitting dogs and cats of various breeds and personalities - energetic, playful, timid, anxious and rescue pets and am adept at nurturing gently to coax them into feeling safe with me. I am also experienced in dealing with emergency visits to the vet upon noticing illness, nurturing and calming during storms/fireworks and am comfortable and confident administering medication if required.
I am quiet by nature and very house proud taking pride and meticulous care in the cleanliness and energy of my surroundings so you can rest assured I will respect your place and treat it as though it were my own. I lead a healthy, very active lifestyle, non smoker/drinker.
During my time travelling and living overseas over the years (to almost 50 countries) I have stayed in many airbnb's and also hosted 2 airbnb's whilst living in South America. I have received 5 star ratings as both a host and guest which is representative of the pride and importance I place in respecting someone's property.
I love the opportunity to housesit and discover new areas of Brisbane and am very grateful people trust me with their beloved pets and home. Emma took fantastic care of our house and energetic 9 month old labradoodle during our 3 week trip overseas. She kept us updated on any issues and obviously really loves caring for dogs. I would highly recommend her and use her again in a heart beat!
My dog took a liking to Emma instantly and during the initial meeting and again at the final handover with Emma, my dog’s tendency to bark was discussed with clear written instructions given as to how to deal with this. I showed her how to charge, turn on and put the vet approved stop bark collar on my dog and to always make sure she wore the collar when left alone.

Emma was amazing looking after Bailey for our long summer break. Thoughtful daily updates and the house was immaculate on her departure. Would welcome her back with open arms.
Emma is a great communicator and regularly kept in touch prior to the house sit. During her stay, Emma sent daily updates of our dog and his wellbeing. He was walked often and was very well taken care of. (I think he misses her company!)
Emma also had the added duty of turning on our Christmas street lights display nightly, which she did willingly.

Emma looked after our ragdoll kitty, home and garden for six weeks with so much care and love. She won over our kitty with her warm and gentle nature, and kept us updated with a photo every single day. We came back to a sparkling house and a relaxed happy cat. Emma is so kind, thoughtful and diligent - it was very reassuring to have her in charge. Emma is an absolute godsend. She is absolutely beautiful with our fur babies and they love her. She took the utmost care of our new home and every day without fail for 6 weeks sent photos and a little message about our lovely babies so we knew they were happy and healthy.
Emma is professional but friendly and extremely responsive to any messages we sent. We were worried about leaving our fur babies for so long but Emma made it much easier as we knew Milly and George were loved and cared for.

I recently engaged Emma to look after my cat whilst travelling interestate. Emma kept in regular communication providing updates + bonus cute photos which made my trip more enjoyable knowing my cat was taken care of at home. My cat also required daily medicine which Emma took care of easily.

Emma came to our rescue when a booked sitter had to cancel.we face timed and I was immediately put to ease with her lovely caring nature.I knew on the first day of sit when we met that our Lilly cat was in good hands!For the week we were away communication was great and Em sent us pics everyday! Emma looked after our place and our two furry boys for 5 weeks whilst we were away in December. Emma was great with our cats, they were both happy, healthy and well fed when we came back :)
