We are a recently retired professional couple. We have downsized our home and now living in an over 55's village in Portland Vic.

We have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, poultry, fish and both large and small birds as well as horses. We love animals and can ensure they are well cared for and loved while their owners are away.

We enjoy light gardening and can maintain small lawns and gardens as well as swimming pools and spas. We are both non-smokers.

We enjoy seeing new things and places and this is our motivation for house sitting - the opportunity to explore areas that we may not have been before and may not have had on our radar to visit.

We don't drive at night so will always be at home to care for you home and pets overnight as well as during most days.

We would welcome any enquiry from home owners to see if we can meet your requirements while you travel away from home.

We had the most wonderful experience of housesitting with Carolyn and Gary. They were communicative and understanding before and throughout the sit, and sent lovely updates and photos while we were away. Mostly, for us, their care of our animals was loving and we came home to two very happy and calm dogs, and a horse and chooks who'd been well cared for. The house was left spotless, too. We could not recommend them more highly as house and pet sitters!

Gary and Carolyn did an excellent job looking after all our pets. The dogs took to them straight away, which was a good indicator for us. Would highly recommend them. Their communications throughout were also reassuring.
