  • I grew up on a dairy farm and assisted with all farm chores including milking and feeding the calves. Before owning the dairy farm, my family worked on sheep and cattle farms in central Victoria and in the Western District. After 20 years of dairy farming, my parents moved into semi retirement and bought a small sheep farm in the Surf Coast Region of Victoria which I enjoyed visiting on weekends and holidays.

Hello!

I work in the teaching profession (early years) and am looking for housesitting opportunities across Australia in 2025.
I am seeking more of a work/life balance with teaching in 2025 and have chosen to work just a few days a week in a relief teaching capacity. To compliment my teaching and my interest in the outdoor environment. I am also studying my Diploma of Sustainability online through UTAS.

What I enjoy most about housesitting is spending time with your beloved pets. The companionship and unconditional love they offer is so good for the soul.

I grew up on a farm in rural Victoria, so I just love getting my hands into soil while gardening and I am comfortable with looking after farm animals too.

I take great pride in being clean and tidy and organised. You can rest assured I will care for your animals, garden, plants and home just as I would my own.

Thank you so much, Anita. Looking after Mickey and Muffin. Especially Mickey with his eye operation having to put in drops etc. Anita went way beyond just housesitting looking after my two fur babies. She made it much easier to be away and know the house and cats were being looked after so well. I would recommend Anita totally for house sitting.

Anita was fabulous to communicate with prior to the house sit and arrived at the designated time to commence the sit. My dogs and miniature ponies were really well cared for and loved by Anita who has a gentle nature and disposition which really ticks all the boxes with all my rescue animals. Anita is a very caring house sitter and when I returned home the house was immaculate and my dog was calm and relaxed and looked trim, taught and terrific. Anita had obviously gone above and beyond in looking after her and the house. While I was away a situation arose which required immediate communication and Anita happily and efficiently managed everything required. I would not hesitate to recommend her and look forward to her house sitting for me again.

Anita was great to communicate with before and during our house sit. She took great care of all our animals. She walked our dogs and cared for our chickens and fish. She was very tidy and clean as a house guest. We would highly recommend her to others.
