Hello we are Derek and Eileen. We are very active retirees. We are on our first year of travelling around Australia. Non smokers. We love walking dogs playing golf and cycling. Derek is retired from upper management at Telstra and I am a retired interior designer. We are both very house proud and would look after your home as our own. We have had and loved our dogs and cat but sadly they have all left us now. So it’s wonderful looking after others pets. Derek has extensive farming experience having grown up on one. We both also are experienced around horses. I grew up with horses and worked on an Arabian stud farm for 5 years in my late teens.

If you are lucky enough to have Eileen and Derek stay at your house you will find not only did you leave your animals and house in the best hands ever, but your animals and house will be better than you left them when you return! These guys were absolute angels. Not only was my dog in better shape than when I left my windows were clean, my garden weeded, my gate fixed and my shed cleaned. Eileen and Derek did a wonderful job of looking after our animals while we were away. They spoiled both. Lockie and Flynn with attention, with regular updates and photos for us to enjoy. The fish and garden were well looked after too. Derek's knowledge of drones and lessons to us on flying ours was much appreciated. They also updated us on local eateries, butcher and through Eileen's barista knowledge where the best coffee was in town. Lockie awaits hopefully for Derek's return as we both hope ... MORE

Eileen and Derek were the most perfect house/dog sitters we could ever have asked for. They were such down to earth and honest people and we would happily have them stay in our home again. Our two great danes absolutely loved having them around and definitely enjoyed being spoiled with a 10km walk! Our house was left in perfect condition and they were soooo easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing the best house and dog care possible. Thanks again guys!

Derek and Eileen were fantastic house sitters and we would not hesitate to engage with them again. They lovingly cared for our pet chickens and dog. Our dog was spoilt with outings and love. Upon our return it was nice to see our dog calm and happy. Our house was left immaculately clean which was so nice to come home to, thank you Derek and Eileen!

We were very fortunate that Eileen and Derek were prepared to do such a short house sit for us even without looking at the accommodation first. They are a very charming couple with lots of energy to keep the dogs active and happy. Their communication was excellent and the place was left in perfect condition. We wish them luck on their future travels and will recommend them for any house sit.

Eileen and Derek took excellent care of my house and dogs while I was away. They gave the dogs medication, took them out for lots of walks and cleaned up after them. My house was clean and tidy when I returned. I would happily have them house sit again.
