Hello and thank you for looking at our profile.
Our names are Amanda and David and we are thoroughly enjoying the many house and/or pet sitting adventures we have been participating in over the past few years.
David and I enjoy travelling and exploring new areas all around Australia, often re-visiting places to see what we missed previously. We do long and/or short house sits, spoil your pets, water your plants and gardens when needed, and maintain the security of your home. Be it bush, beach, outback, regional or city ... we have no restrictions or pre-requisites.
If you are looking for someone who is caring, honest, trustworthy, respectful of your home and privacy and who will love your pets and care for them and keep in touch regularly with you, then please contact us.
David and I are both non-smokers, our children are young adults and have left home and we currently have no pets of our own. I believe in communicating regularly so you can feel secure your house sit is being handled professionally and reliably. Both David and I have impeccable records for reliability and commitment to house sits once booked and confirmed with you. We tend to be home bodies who enjoy exploring new places through the day but rarely go out of an evening. Your home, pets and your care guidelines are our priority and will be treated with respect at all times.
After having my own cleaning business for many years, please know your home will be looked after and left the same way you leave it in our care. We do not charge for our services and previous home owners have enjoyed the culinary surprises I often leave for them to savour on their return.
References both written and verbal with phone contacts are available and we both have current Working with Vulnerable People cards due to the volunteer work we participate in when home in Tasmania.
We are currently home in Tasmania and already bookings for 2025 are filling up fast. We do have availability between August 10th and September 6th 2025 to fill as of today 26/12/24.

That our cat Boris was more than comfortable with Amanda speaks for itself.
The house was left clean and tidy and as much as possible of their laundry was done.
Amanda clearly has lots of house-sitting experience.
Absolutely lovely couple. Great communication leading upto the sit. They looked after our fur family very well. The house was clean and tidy on our return and Amanda cooked us a lovely meal. I would recommend them highly to anyone wanting to feel secure while away from home.
Amanda could not have been more helpful, proactive and organised. She did wonderfully with our cats and was fantastic about staying in contact at all stages. She left the house in perfect condition.
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
