Ageless, Environmental Project Manager
I am a casual house sitter and use this opportunity to meet new people and explore the far reaches of Australia and overseas at least once a year. I am also listed as a house sitter on Trusted Housesitters, this site I use for international house sits. I have been a regular user of this site for many years in my quest for compatible house sitters to care for my house, property and menagerie when I take regular vacations. I have recently retired as an environmental project manager. I enjoy both the great outdoors, inner city or suburbia surrounded by animals and come with a range of practical skills needed for rural living. I am in good health (important to know when you are leaving me in charge). Walking and exploring are my preferred activities. For the past 25 years I have been a rescue dog carer for Animal Rights & Rescue (ARRG) & wildlife carer (WIRES) involved in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of wildlife and for five years I have been a volunteer 'Environmental Project Coordinator for Friends of the Koala.
I have my own animals living with me on my rural property in Northern NSW, most are rescued, I am experienced with farm animals as well as domestic. My current animal companions include 3 dogs and 2 donkeys. I leave a low environmental footprint and am always conscious of minimising energy and water usage. Please contact me for a link to my professional website to give a little more insight into my workinglife. (Link removed by admin),

From then; two large cats in Drysdale, Victoria, Nov 2015 and two delightful dogs in Cairns, August 2016 (endorsed). In Nov. 2017 I had two house sits with cats and a dog in Tas, (endorsed). Feb 2018 I cared for three cats & four rescue dogs in Bangkok, and two dogs in Ballina in Nov. 2018. I completed three house sits in Ireland and UK (April & May 2019), I did manage to unit and cat sit in Tokyo for a couple of weeks just before the world went into 'lockdown'. My most recent house sit was in Scotland in November 2022 caring for two Cavelier King Charles spaniels. These international sits were through 'Trusted Housesitters', My charges include cats, dogs, fish and goats.
I once owned a much loved pig called Prudence.
Photos show me volunteering at two seperate animal welfare organisations; Soi Dog in Thailand and Vietnam Animal Welfare, Hoi An, Vietnam (name changed I believe).
