Hi, we are mid-fifties, conscientious empty-nesters looking to do some house-sitting in semi-retirement. We will be in NSW until June, and plan to be in Queensland for July/August.

We have owned dogs, a cat, fish, Guinea pigs, sheep and goats. Our last pet was a beautiful retriever, Sully, who sadly died of old age.

We are clean and tidy people, and will keep your home as we like our own to be.

Our house had indoor plants and a garden, including a large vegetable garden and we enjoyed harvesting, eating and preserving from it.

We like to walk regularly, and try to keep healthy, so happy to walk pets.

Matt is a jack of all trades, having worked on farms as a labourer/fruit picker, renovated several houses, built our deck, pergola, polytunnel and raised garden beds. Matt has also worked on windmills, water pumps etc.
He loves mountain biking, gardening and comedy.

Beth is a Teacher Aide, and loves interior design, cooking, gardening and watching K dramas

We would highly recommend Beth and Matthew to house sit/pet sit. The house was kept in perfect condition and we had daily photos of our puppy who they took for walks, played with and had quality couch time. Beth and Matthew were great communicators and even did our washing before we got home. This was our first time using Aussie Housesitters and we are very happy we were able to go on holidays knowing that our house, veggie garden and puppy were looked after with such a high standard. After the meet and great I felt very comfortable leaving my 3 cats and home in the care of Beth and Matt. They did a wonderful job. Communication was excellent. I received daily photos and updates of the cats and the plants. My home was clean and well cared for. All the indoor and outdoor plants looked great. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter and hope they might come back for a repeat sit!

Beth and Matthew looked after our doggos and the house while we were in Sydney. Communication was excellent from the start and we received regular updates which was great. We came home to a beautifully clean house with sheets and towels washed. Beth even left us a home made treat! The boys had been well cared for which is our number one priority. Beth and Matt recently took care of our home and pets with the same level of care as though they were their own. They were fantastic house sitters and provided regular updates.
