Matt & Katie

Hello!

We're Matt (31) and Katie (34), a couple originally from the UK, living permanently in WA (permanent residents) . We are currently engaged and have been together for 5 years. We are a reliable and professional couple. We both love travelling, going on adventures, being outdoors and of course we deeply care and are passionate about animals!

About Matt – I have worked for the emergency services for over 10 years. I bring a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail to everything I do. My profession has taught me the importance of reliability and trustworthiness, qualities that I apply to pet sitting. I have always had a deep love for animals, and over the years, I have cared for a number of dogs and cats. In my free time I like to surf, swim and go to the gym.

About Katie – Katie works in marketing and is also a photographer. She has wealth of experience with animals from looking after her own and fostering others. She works for an animal rescue and re-homing charity in the UK in their marketing department. This is a job she is passionate about as she helps find animals in need of new homes and raises vital awareness on key issues. She has fostered animals whilst waiting for their forever homes. Katie has been involved with arranging fund raising events for the charity, events which Matt has also volunteered his own free time for.

We are non smokers and non drinkers. We much prefer a night in watching Netflix, hopefully with the company of your pet(s), than going out.

We have a proven track record of looking after others peoples homes. We are currently good tenants in WA and we have stayed in many Air BnB's (reviews available on request) and have always treated other peoples properties as if they are our own. We own properties in the UK and so we understand the importance of looking after your home whilst you are away.

We have lots experience with looking after pets, ranging from dogs, cats, horses and even sheep, having lived in a rural part of North England. You can trust us to follow your instructions and ensure your pets' routines are maintained.

We miss the company of our pets and animals and this is a wonderful opportunity for us to re-connect with our furry friends. We are the right couple to put your trust in, to look after and care for your pet(s) and home whilst you are away and look forward to it.
