Hi our names are Ian and Margaret.

We are a mature non-smoking retired active couple who play Golf and Tennis and you will find us to be friendly, honest and house proud who will look after your home, pets and garden as if it were our own.

We have been married 48 years and have owned various houses over this time and our current home is in the suburbs of Adelaide.

We have always had cats as pets, unfortunately we lost our last pet cat Lucky who was 19 yrs old suddenly five years ago and of course we miss him terribly. We haven't replaced him at this stage but no doubt another cat will let us spoil it when the time arises. We would only like to look after cats chicken ducks fish but unfortunately we have never had a dog as a pet so have no experience with them therefore we would not be suitable to look after them as you would want us to.

Ian likes to garden so not a problem looking after you lawn and watering if necessary.

We also like to travel and have traveled extensively overseas for the last 24 years, now we would like to start experiencing our own country, therefore our reason to do some house sitting and to look after other peoples pets while they are off having a holiday themselves.

We have enjoyed all the house sits we have done so far and hopefully will get many more chances to help others when the go away on their adventures.

Margret and Ian were amazing. They took the time to travel across Adelaide prior to the house sit, just to meet us and our cat Pepper. They were understanding of our need to change our day of departure and were always on time and organised. They both adore cats and took the best care of our Pepper. Ian mowed our lawn while we were away and the yards looked better on our return than they had when we left! Margret went to the trouble of cleaning the house before we came home which was just ... It was so nice to have Margaret and Ian back for a second time to house sit for us. Communication prior to the sit was good through phone calls and messages. They arrived on time. We heard from them once whilst away and we were able to help them solve a TV problem. We arrived home to a lovely tidy house everything had been taken care of really well. Margaret baked some very delicious brownies as a welcome home gift. We would have no hesitation in recommending Margaret and Ian as house sitters.

This was the second time Margaret and Ian have housesat for us. They are great. Communication was spot on prior to the sit. As they had came in winter on the previous occasion the garden care was a little more involved this time as it was summer. Margaret and Ian came to house sit for us from 6th June to 12th June 2021. Communication prior to the sit went very well. Margaret called us a coupe of times to clarify a couple of issues. The arrived on time and at once we felt very comfortable and reassured that our place would be well taken care of. Margaret and Ian were great house sitters for us. They related immediately to our 2 cats and gave them much loving attention and care. When we returned the cats were in perfect health and were both relaxed and at ease. Margaret and Ian looked after our house as if it was their own and took notice of how the routine runs in the house and operated accordingly. We would love to have them back again and recommend them highly to anyone seeking reliable, conscientious house sitters.

No rating Margaret and Ian looked after my cat over Christmas and did a fantastic job. I'm sure they left the place cleaner than they found it, and on top of caring for my cat, they also fed the local wildlife and watered plants for me. My cat is very shy but they won her over and she even slept on the bed with them. They sent me updates about her while I was away and it made my holiday much easier knowing all was well.
