Hi Barry and I really enjoy meeting new people and caring for their pets both large and small . We have joined Aussie house sitters as it is a very reputable site making it easier to find suitable sits We are both non smokers , with police checks and reference's. I worked for the RSPCA and we have previously owned our own much loved dogs and cats . Experienced with giving medication when needed . I am also competent with pet first aid .
I love all aspects of horses and have worked with and owned , thoroughbreds, quarter horses , and show horses. also very confident caring for cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and various poultry., many of which we have also owned .Happy to feed and care for birds and reptiles.
We believe pets are family and have always treated them as such .
We are both honest caring people and will treat your home with respect . Your animals with love and care as if they were our own.
We both enjoy gardening and yard maintenance, also quite handy around the home. We own our own home in Queensland and use it as a base to return to between travels. We both prefer the quiet lifestyle so have no problem being in rural areas . Would prefer wifi availability to continue my online study . HI, From the moment I met Paula and Barry I felt they would be fantastic, we all connected really well and that included myself and both my puppies. Communication was fantastic, I got photos every day and I could see the happiness in my dogs faces. I would certainly recommend them and hope I can get them back one day, thank you so much Paula and Barry, Poppett and Sally miss you .
Paula and Barry made our first house sitting experience a very positive one. They genuinely loved and cared for our pets and took care of the house as well. They were very good at communicating with us from the first time we met right up until the house sit was over. I very highly recommend them for looking after your home.

Paula and Barry were absolutely the best!! From their care of our home, garden and most importantly our border collie Ruby, they were exceptional. They really bonded with our anxious girl and went above and beyond to make sure she felt safe, secure and loved. We could not recommend them highly enough, and hope they’ll come again.

Well I think it was meant to be for us. Barrie & Paula came along at the right time and they were just amazing. Our house and particularly our animals were extremely well cared for, the house was lovely and clean when we returned. Communication was excellent. We hope to have them back one day and would extremely highly recommend them to others.
Paula and Barry were my first housesitters and made whole process seamless. I felt very confident leaving my house and more importantly my fur babies in their care and was reassured when I got home that my trust was well placed.
Paula and Barry were amazing. Our home and garden were immaculate and Paula was in regular contact. Our place is a bit unusual in that we are in a rural environment and have fish, 2 old horses and chooks - not your regular pets, but this was no problem. I have no hesitation in recommending them as exemplary house sitters.
These lovely folk came to look after our much loved puppies and take care of our home for a month. They were awesome, puppies were cared for as if they were their own and we came home to a spotless home and garden and happy dogs. Can’t ask for more than that. We have no hesitation in recommending Paula and Barry. We hope they will be available when next we travel.
