Hi!
I’m Lucy and from Melbourne, Australia. I have recently relocated after being based in America for work. I have house/pet sat for many families in Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns) and in New Zealand and America (Florida, Utah, New York, California, Wisconsin, Hawaii) and also Canada. So have many references/testimonials!
I LOVE all animals and have had my own pets over many years including cats, dogs, rabbits, goats, chooks, Guinea pigs, Mexican walking fish, and cockatoos! One might say that I am a “jack of all trades” when it comes to pets! Or maybe a Dr. Dolittle :)
I’m trying to settle back in to being back in Oz and am not sure where to base myself at the moment, so figure that I should make the most of the summer and help those who have holiday plans over the next few months!
I love gardening and being outdoors, walking dogs and talking to/engaging with other like minded people - a 15min walk can easily turn into an hour because I like to stop and chat with anyone that is also walking their dog or has a gorgeous front garden :)
The pics you can see are from the most recent pet-sitting adventures I have had. My knowledge and experience has covered German Shephards, Pointers, Jack Russell’s, Golden Retrievers/Labs, Pomeranians, Beagles, Pugs, Staffies.
Over the years, our cats were named Monkey, Kevin, Zeus, Trouble & Strife - they were brother/sister kittens!
I love the Melbourne sunshine (when it actually appears!) and have an outgoing, independent, proactive personality. However, I love my space, peace and quiet, switching off and especially cuddling with animals. Therefore I may be a sucker for having pets in bed with me, but also respect the rules and boundaries for each household.
I am single, mature, experienced, reliable, responsible and of course respectful.
I own three properties (all tenanted”) and ran two pet friendly Air BnB’s for six years (Superhost). And I have been travelling all over the world for many years and so know how to look after someone else’s home and pets.
