Zoe & Jonny

Hello!
We are Zoe & Jonny - a mature, responsible and friendly married couple in our late 30s / early 40s. We returned to my hometown of Melbourne a few months ago after living in Germany for 12 years. While we settle back in, we are hoping to housesit to a) save some money; b) work out which area we would like to live in; and c) so we can hang out with some cute pets :)

I'm a photographer and am working in marketing and communications Monday to Friday close to the city. Jonny has recently completed studying full time for his Masters and is working in audio research, currently remotely for a German employer. (As he will be working from home he will be there to keep pets company and between us we can always manage two walks per day for dogs - Jonny does the morning walk and I do the evening after I get home from work.)

We love cooking, music and walking. We love going out to restaurants but we are also very happy pottering at home with a good book.

While we settle back into Melbourne we are excited to housesit in this wonderful city. It feels like the perfect time or us, while we wait for our possessions to arrive via ship from overseas, and while we have no furniture ourselves to cart around yet. As Jonny was studying full time up until recently, it's also a good way for us to save some money.

It's a great opportunity for me to show Jonny different areas of Melbourne also, to help us work out where we might like to settle eventually.

Most of all, we really love dogs, and can't wait to have a furry friend join our family of two once we have a place of our own. In the meantime, getting to hang out and look after other people's doggos is a great substitute!

We've also looked after some very cute cats lately, so I think we can count ourselves as cat people too now!
