We’re Juan Pablo and Pato, a couple from Uruguay who, after getting married and traveling for nine months, decided to move to Australia. I’m Pato, a 32-year-old sociologist, and my husband Juampi is a 31-year-old architect.

Nine years ago, we welcomed our first puppy, Bartolo, a beautiful Golden Retriever who completely changed our lives. We dedicated so much love and time to him, training and caring for him, and enjoyed endless walks, trips to the park, the beach, and every little spot we could bring him along. We’re absolute animal lovers, and now that we’re traveling, we miss Bartolo so much.

This is why we’d love to care for other pets while we’re on this journey. Animals bring such special energy, and we’d be thrilled to share that connection with them. We’ve looked after dogs, cats, turtles, horses, rabbits, chickens, and more, and our affection extends to all animals. Spending time with pets brings us so much joy, and we truly believe that caring for them is a deeply fulfilling experience.
