50 ish, educator
Hello,
My name is Shelley and I love connecting new people and places through house sitting. I have had some lovely house-sitting experiences and enjoy doing it for two main reasons – just to get a change of scene and to be around some adorable pets for a while – especially since we lost our beautiful Aussie Shepherd girl, this year. (aged 15)
Often, but not always, I travel with my daughter who is a Uni student and a reliable and respectful house guest.
My work as an educator and coach/mentor, is mostly online so I am able to spend lots of time with your fur babies and keep them company.
I am committed to making house sitting experience a truly mutually beneficial experience. I promise to look after your home as I would my own – with respect and thoughtfulness, keeping it clean and tidy and responsibly managing any issues that might arise. I am quite house-proud,
Recognizing that this is a position of great trust, I have put together a checklist of considerations to put in place when organising a house sit. This might really help if you are new to this arrangement – and has been invaluable to me in the past.
Experience has shown me to always be prepared!
I welcome your inquiry for short- or long-term house stays, anywhere in Australia, – take a look at my reviews and photos which will give you a bit of an idea about me. I’m always happy to arrange a phone call and get to know your needs better and see if we are a good fit!
