We need a house sitter

Canberra - Inner North

Marita

We live in the inner north of Canberra in Dickson. It is a short walk to the local shops and public transport. It is only just over 30 minutes to walk into the centre of Canberra. We have a lovely 3 bedroom home with evaporative cooling and ducted has heating. We have a 8 year old Labrador that needs a daily walk. We also have a 4 year old cat who is easy going. Our garden is low maintenance and does not require any work during your stay.

Mr Bentley dog and Liffy cat were both great pets for us. Bentley had a lovely personality, a gentle giant, very easygoing, always happy to see us and walk/spend time with us and Liffy was very independent but succumbed to cuddles in the last few days of the sit lol, which was special. We kept in touch with Marita via WhatsApp and received responses without delay. We felt “at home” in their lovely, very clean/tidy home (we had family members close by so the location was really good for us) No ... MORE

Such a pleasure to housesit for Marita and family. The home was clean, modern, warm and very comfortable. Located in a quiet area with beautiful autumn leaves and close to shops. Bentley & Liffey were friendly and easy to look after. Regular communication and concise notes appreciated. No problems recommending this housesit to others

I can highly recommend this sitting opportunity to otthers, thanks so much Marita and family. Bentley (dog) and Liffy (cat) were excellent companions and easy to take care of. Bentley enjoys his morning walks and a quick dip. The house was very clean and comfortable, and well-located. Garden & plant care was straight-forward. Communications were also excellent prior to and during the sit. Thanks again Marita!
