Hi, Property is located in Gelorup (2hrs south of Perth) on a nice & quite 5 acres but with access to pretty much every convenience a few minutes away. Large shopping center complex with all usual amenities located a short 3 min drive away (Also bike paths that can get you there too) Short 5 min drive to the beach that you can actually take your 4wd onto if you wish & an easy 10min drive will have you directly into the CBD of Bunbury.
4 bed / 2 bath property with inground (heated) pool, rainwater supplied to the house, large outdoor area with BBQ/TV to enjoy the outdoors & inside is Air con & wood fire for cold winter days/nights (Wood supply is available)
A 7yo male Jack Russell (Buddy) and 4 Goldfish will be the only pets that require looking after, Buddy is a fantastic dog, very friendly & affectionate, loves the beach and also being inside on the couch or in front off the fire enjoying company. He has his own kennel outside in a fully fenced area on the property so he is very happy inside or outside - he also enjoys swimming in the pool too.
House wise - there is a bore utilised for all the watering (not rain water) Despite being on 5 acres and this is not a major task. A small amount is in lawns & garden the rest is natural bushland. Depending on the weather you may only just be required to water the pot plants that are undercover, otherwise its just a matter of turning on the bore and moving sprinklers around throughout the day/afternoon and handwatering some plants. The lawn care is pretty easy - hand mowing usually takes a few hours at most and being in the winter season it will not need to be done on a weekly basis so lawn & garden care is pretty straightforward in this instance - all required equipment & tools will be available on the property.
Pool will need cleaning every few days, mostly done by a robotic pool cleaner, (aka - Jeeves) just need to keep an eye on water level, clean out skimmer box filter, clean out Jeeves filter and also change main cartridge filter when required. (a pretty easy task - no tools required etc) We do have a company that comes once a month & they do all the chemicals & a clean but it does need to be checked regularly between that time.
Apart from that its just a matter of keeping the place looking tidy, keeping an eye on the gutters and main water tank level during the rainy days. As there is a lot of trees around the property, quite a few leaves etc can be blown around and build up in some places around the house - mostly just blown off with a leaf blower.
