As a new member in our homeowner community here at Aussie House Sitters, we really want you to get the most out of your membership and help you find the perfect house sitter as easily as possible.
We all know time is precious, so fortunately through our platform, securing a great house sitter doesn’t necessarily have to take a lot of time or effort.
You’re probably already aware of the many benefits of engaging a house sitter while you’re away. Now, we’d like to share what we believe to be the easiest and most time effective way of finding house sitters.
From our experience, the most straightforward way you can find a house and pet sitter is by placing a free house sitting ad on our site. It’s pretty simple really: you place a free ad, our registered house sitters read it, they respond via the private in-house message system, and away you go.
Placing a free advertisement works because you know all the house sitters who apply for your house sit are
1) interested and
2) available.
It’s quite common to have multiple house sitters showing interest in your job ad, so you then have the luxury of selecting the best candidate for you. Listing your house sitting ad saves you time by having potential house sitters apply to you, instead of you searching through all the sitter profiles on the site to find a suitable match with availability.
Here are a few points on why we believe placing a free house sitting job ad is the way to go:

We had some great sits again during the five months we spent in Australia during 2015. You still are the best site and we had great hosts who have become good friends. Although we are now back home in Gibraltar we will be back with you at the end of 2016 ready for our next trip in 2017. Many thanks for your continued good service and easy to use site. See you again soon. Patricia and Howard
