Pets can give you the best reviews - Dale's story

After retiring from his professional life in architecture and computing, Dale decided to try something different, and in 2016 he joined Aussie House Sitters to experience the freedom and change of pace of life on the road. 

What Dale didn’t realise when he began his house sitting adventure, was how the pets he cared for would end up being his biggest advocates. 

What do you like about house sitting?

House sitting has given Dale the opportunity to enjoy the comforts of staying in a home while he travels, as well as enhancing his experience by having the company of adorable pets. “Meeting new people and their pets is absolutely one of the most enjoyable aspects of house sitting”. 

Not only is the experience beneficial for Dale, but he also provides an invaluable service in giving pet owners peace of mind while they’re away from home - “Halo our cat took to Dale more than I have seen her take to anyone in such a short time. He was trusting, caring and loving to our pet, and sent updates and a pic while we were away.
