We appreciate you taking the time to get to know us, and how we can help you, as we have assisted many other homeowners in 10+ years of full-time House & Pet Sitting around the world.
We do have a full website sharing all about us, our extensive experience and over 100+ expressions of appreciation and testimonials from previous owners (and some furry friends), along with a Facebook page that shares our current experiences.
We understand that is a lot of information, so for your convenience here is a brief overview below.
What We Bring To You...
As a mature aged couple we have extensive life experience. Before House & Pet Sitting, we owner built our own home, bought and sold investment properties, while maintaining successful careers. In addition we have looked after and loved our own pets and raised two boys, who have now built successful lives of their own.
Over our many years House & Pet Sitting we have drawn on these skills and experience to maintain the properties, pools, cars and other requirements of our homeowners, while providing loving care and attention for the many and various furry and feathered friends we have taken care of.
In addition we now have extensive skills in the unique requirements of House & Pet Sitting, such as assisting homeowners with their first house & pet sit. We also provide detailed questionnaires so we have all the required information and you have the confidence and peace of mind to enjoy you holiday knowing everything is taken care of. Additionally we bring the experience of having dealt with many and varied unexpected situations and events, including dealing with unwell pets, property and car issues.
Our Lifestyle...
It's simple, we wanted a different lifestyle, one that is based on Trust and Contribution. Additionally we wanted to travel and experience the local life, cultures, people and pets of the world.
We appreciate the generosity and trust from all our previous home and pet owners as well as the love of their pets, and it's extra special when many invite us back for repeat sits, proving that home really is where we are as Willow says:

A Bit About Us...
We are both semi-retired professionals who own and operate our businesses online over the internet, so we have the freedom of working from anywhere, and to do the things that we love, such as further travel, looking after animals and living in new places. Because we work online we spend most of our time at home with your pets.
However we also have experience in relief management for motels, which we do occasionally when the right opportunity presents itself. This has provided us with hospitality experience, cooking breakfast and dinner, supervising and assisting cleaning staff and managing booking systems.
We are in good health, enjoy walking, and recently completed half the Via Francigena, which is a 1300km walk from Switzerland to Rome. We love adventure and new experiences, and when challenges arise we always find the way forward.
We have travelled overseas, with tours, back packing and volunteering in Africa where we helped manage and look after a Lion and Tiger breeding park.
Gavin spent 20 years in the Aviation industry as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and then transferred to Simulation where he developed a passion for electronics and software programming and held positions such as Group Quality Assurance Manger, Business Development Manager, Systems Development & Continuous Improvement consultant for many SME's.
Jill has over 20 years experience in payroll and bookkeeping, and over 10 years as a life coach and mentor, which resulted in extensive personal development. Jill has established herself as trustworthy, reliable and compassionate, which have been great transferrable skills into house and pet sitting.

Jill and Gavin were absolutely wonderful. Great communication right from the beginning. Amidst the kerfuffle of preparing for our trip they were easy going and helpful. The posts and pictures of our dogs were very sweet and reassuring. We came home to a spotless house and very happy dogs. We would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.
Jill and Gavin were absolutely fabulous from the first point of contact through to helping me navigate the whole process as a first time user of a house sitter.

It was wonderful to go away knowing our fur babies were in good hands with Jill & Gavin. Jill and Gavin recently stayed at my house in Scarborough WA. The main reason for them being there was to take care of my two dogs, while I was away overseas.
They were great, easy to communicate with. reliable, and very experienced in house/pet sitting. They did a great job, my dogs were happy and healthy when I returned, and the house was clean and tidy. What more could I ask for.
I can highly recommend Jill and Gavin to house/pet sit, and would definitely ask them to stay again.

Jill & Gavin were wonderful in every way. They made our dogs feel so loved. The chickens were happy and well cared for. The house was tidy and clean. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Jill and Gavin to anyone needed a sitter. Very profession, friendly and easy to communicate with. House was left near and tidy and our pets were all well looked after. They sent us photos of the dogs having fun which we loved! Jill and Gav did an absolutely wonderful job looking after our house and our boy Winston. We had to come home early due to covid-19 travel restrictions and Jill and Gav even got us some supplies so we were sorted whilst in isolation. They always communicated quickly and efficiently and our house was spotless on our return. It was my very good fortune to have Jill & Gav housesit for me and mind my daughter's dog Archie while she was interstate and I was O/S for 3 weeks. What a joy it was to see regular photos of Archie on Facebook swimming at the dog beach or being spoiled with lap cuddles (despite his size)!

What can we say.....wow wow wow. These guys were amazing. We cannot thank Jillian and Gav enough for putting our mind at ease while we were away. This was the first time we used an online service to find a house sitter. We have always relied on friends or family.
