Charmaine & Carly Woods

We have been permanent house sitters since Feb 2023 and loving it! We both work from home and love traveling and exploring new towns and local hikes in between jobs for the day. We really enjoy looking after animals, find that we connect easily and can love them like they are our own for the time we are together.

Charmaine grew up on a farm with horses, cows, sheep, chickens and ducks. Charmaine has also personally had a dog and 3 CUTE bantom chickens.

Carly grew up on a farm and lovingly cared for horses, cows, chickens, ducks, fish, a dog and a cat. She was the one who meticulously cleaned out the chicken coup, cared for the ducks and chickens as if they were her own brood and made sure the cat and dog were fed and loved daily.

Both of us have cared for orchards and large organic veggie patches from our own homes - we are garden lovers.

We take pride in keeping a house in brilliant condition - indoor plants included (we hear them screaming at us if unloved / unwatered!). We are both herbalists too - it makes sense ;) plant love all the way.

All of our house/pet sits have been via the Trusted Housesitters website/app to date so all of our reviews are over there - you can see a few reviews we photographed in our profile pics but happy to share all the reviews with you or share some contacts of people we have sat for regularly if you would like further recommendations too.

We generally prefer to meet on Zoom as soon as possible so we can discuss if it will work for us all and lock it all in as our dates tend to book up quickly. Looking forward to meeting you!
