I'm based on NSW Central Coast and have been house sitting over the last decade or outside of this website. I am self-employed and my work is highly mobile, so I can care for your home and pet(s) no issue.
Experience thus far includes cats, dogs and fish. I was raised with cats and dogs, and am comfortable with them. Unless instructed otherwise, I would enjoy taking dogs out twice a day. Would need a little mentoring with other animals. I'd prefer not to work with reptiles just yet.
I am in my 60's and physically active. I enjoy the change in pace that house sitting provides. I prefer a quiet setting that's not too isolated or remote. I like to keep things clean and make a good home carer. I use apple cider vinegar and bicarb rather than cleaning chemicals.
Re gardens? I am best with low- to medium-care gardens. Wouldn't want to mow or trim lawns much. I am very respectful of other people. I prefer to walk into a clean home and leave it at least as good as I find it.
I tend to need a month's or so's notice, but I'm willing to help at short notice if I can.
