Hi, I'm Cathy & I look forward to assisting you to have that well-needed holiday/getaway, or family event, etc - guaranteeing to take great care of your home, property, & your furry family members! I've enjoyed numerous house/pet-sits since 2017 registration with 'Aussie-housesitter' (reviews on profile). A non-smoker, & former assistant to hospital dieticians, I've founded & coordinated an outlet of Vic Foodbank from 2015-2019 (until covid) in Eaglehawk, Bendigo. Its my passion to assist others (with dignity), & build social inclusion within local community. Its also my War on Waste!. Choosing a volunteer-based vocation in my mid-age, I utilize house/pet-sitting for my travel breaks. In my earlier years, after dietetics, I became a senior corporate travel agent in Toowoomba Qld for 12 years. Have travelled widely; favourite country is Australia. Best beaches! Esp WA.
PS. My 17yo Honey passed in Dec 2019 so I've lots of love to give to others furbabies!
Update: March'20-presently, I've been a full-time resident carer in country Vic, assisting also with property/estate maintenance of 3 acres. No pets. But an interesting menagerie of wildlife, & birds. Have been involved with wildlife rescue in Clunes where I've been based.
I was very happy with the care that Cathy gave to my two cocker spaniels. I came home to a sparkling clean house and two very happy dogs! It was easy to communicate with Cathy both before the sit began and during, when she was kind enough to send through reports and photos.

It was wonderful to have Cathy look after our little girl - Miss Puff. Cathy took her out every day and taught her new tricks, introduced her to new things and let her explore. Loved getting the photos while we were away, knowing she was in good hands. Thank you Cathy for looking after our baby so well.

Her added attribute is her willingness to keep in touch regarding all and this is important to us as we rely on her 100% when we are away for 3 months or so.
House always clean when we return and often surprise food packages. in fridge, etc
Over the years we have always found her 110% trustworthy and again always happy to recommend her (unless we need her)
Cathy looked after our home and pets extremely well, the house was spotless when we got home and she was happy to extend the sit for a couple of days when our holiday was extended. She even left us a prepared dinner for the day we came home which is a nice touch.We would have no hesitation recommending here for future sits.

I cannot recommend Cathy like her previous house owners have.
We were missing various items from our house and her total disrespect for our house and garden was totally unacceptable.
We are now reluctant to use this service again,,
Cathryn looked after our home and precious fur babies at short notice. We can say we were extremely happy with the way she took care of everything. She even left us with a totally unexpected and unnecessary gift on our return. We can highly recommend Cathryn as a sitter for your home and would have no hesitation in having her house sit again.

Cathryn was just great! I was a first time house sit user and a bit apprehensive about a stranger in my house but Cathryn was just like having a friend stay. My Labrador dog needed to be taken to the vet for follow up treatment while I was away & that was no problem. She kept in touch with me all the time I was away overseas and I came back to a cleaner than when I left it home! I absolutely recommend Cathy to any homeowner going away and in fact I have rebooked her for my next away trip.
Cathryn was just a wonderful house sitter. It was a pleasure to have her stay in my home. The dogs and my cat were so happy and well cared for and my home was lovely and clean to come home to.

Cathy, was a great house/pet sitter taking great care of my pets (both of which required medication during the time I was away).

Cathy was the absolute best house sitter and pet sitter we could have found! She looked after our french bulldog a week after he had surgery and we felt very at ease knowing she was there. The house was immaculate when we got home and she sent us updates regularly. I would highly recommend her as a sitter, She is fantastic.
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
