Im a 45 year old, non smoking/ drinking, active, single female looking for a house & pet sit. I'm mature, responsible, respectful and proactive.

I am studying and setting up my own online business, so currently work from home for 5 days of the week. I do a handful of shifts in NDIS/ youth work per week around this.

I absolutely love animals, they genuinely bring me so much joy, and would love the chance to take care of yours! I grew up with big/ medium sized dogs (and cats) so understand whats involved in their care - its more than just cuddles (although those are great too!) - they need exercise, walks, and someone who genuinely cares about their welfare. Ive always had a special relationship with dogs and cats, love to get to know their unique personality and needs, and how they communicate.

My interests include being in nature, swimming/ going to the beach, music, exploring new places, travel, meeting new people and learning new things. Im passionate about self development and growth, both for myself and others, and supporting wellbeing.

Im very neat and tidy, and love a clean house. I'd would take care of your house as if it were my own. I also enjoy gardening so happy to help out as needed.

Im an experienced private house/ pet sitter and renter with a strong track record and references. I have 20 years of house sitting and renting history.

Most recently Ive been house & pet sitting for a FIFO worker in Trinity Beach, and have been in arrangement since August 2021. I am responsible for his two beautiful heelers, Chilli & Rosie, gardening & the pool while the owner is away for his 2 weeks on/ off fly in and fly out schedule. I pet/ house sit on the two weeks that he is home, so will have specific dates to work within (with a little bit of flexibility either side).

I am open to taking sits across QLD but for those which are long travel, tend to do stays of 2 weeks min.

Leyla was an excellent housesitter. Great communication generally but we also recieved lots of updates, photos and videos which was great for our peace of mind. Caring for 2 Kelpies is a big job with 2 runs a day and generally giving them heaps of attention. Leyla took it all in her stride. The house was spotless on my return, our 2 dogs and cat had obviously been well cared for and recieved lots of love and attention. Leyla is one of that persons that give you peace of mind as soon as you met her. You just know that everything is going to be alright and it is! Reaffirming communication, pics of your pet that you miss so much while you are away and however plants are not her thing, she took care of all and made queries anytime she hesitate with something. One of my best house-sitters experience ;-)

Thankyou Leyla for coming down to South Mission to take care of Phoenix and the house while we were away. Loved having you here and your communications with us was always great. The unit was left tip top and Kerry was glad all his plants were watered and I was happy my fish were happy. Phoenix, I know was well looked after even though he's elusive. Leyla was quick to respond to messages and easy to communicate with. She was flexible with meeting times around my schedule. My dogs were provided with love and walks , pictures, and video updates to make me feel more comfortable leaving my babies. The house was clener then when I left. Overall amazing house sitter and will remain in touch to use again.

Leyla was a godsend to us. We are so happy and very appreciative on how she house sit and especially cat sit to Pepper and Bilbo, who yearns for attention daily. She made us worry-free and looked after them so well. House was clean and immaculate when we got home and both our cats were happy.
