I've been house sitting part time for 10 years in AUS and NZ. I'm a non-smoker and have a current Blue card and a National Police Certificate. I'm reliable and caring, and I treat your pets like my own, as part of my family. I'll walk dogs every day, and keep you updated with photos and messages.
A home owner myself, I'll take good care of your house. My goal is for you to come back from your trip to happy pets, and a clean house. I will not be working, so your pets will have company, and they are my first priority.
I've owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and chooks and also look after pets in my home as a paid pet sitter. I've fostered cats and volunteered at an animal shelter. In my own garden I grow organic fruits and vegetables. My preference is for non-smoking homes in quiet areas with internet/WIFI connection, a garden, and a nearby area to walk your dogs.
I need to be handy to public transport please.
*For dogs, prefer small to medium trained pets.*

Lucy was able to step at short notice and was very understanding when we needed extra time before confirming the booking. At the meet & greet Lucy showed a good rapport with cats & we felt very comfortable leaving Theodora in her care. We received daily texts & photos and could see how well they were getting on together. Very happy to recommend Lucy to care for your pets.

Lucy was perfect for Luca, and I am so pleased I chose her. Lucy was a phenomenal house/pet/garden sitter and I highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable and takes care of everything as if it is her own. Our cat, Maui, did wonderful with her and did not skip a beat when we returned from our 7 day trip. You can tell that Lucy has a natural gift with animals as our cat warmed to her immediately. Lucy left our house clean and tidy and it also felt as though when we got home we didn't have to skip a beat as we unpacked and settled back in. And ... Fantastic house sitters. My two cocker spaniels were so comfortable with them. The alpacas and chickens were also well cared for. I received regular updates and photos of my dogs. The house was immaculate when we returned. Lucy left a very tasty vegetable curry in the fridge for us which was unexpected but a lovely touch. I could not recommend them highly enough.

She kept us updated regularly on her progress along with photos which was very comforting given that this was the first time we have left Angel with anyone other than family or friends.
