John has retired from Eco Tour Guiding on the Murray River at Barmah and Cobram in 2022. Interests are taking photos of Nature and Landscape with a bent towards birds. A bit of fishing thrown in is very good.
Christina is still working at the Cape Horn Vinyard and wine bar overlooking the Murray River. Her background growing up, was living on farms.
We both have been part of Barmah's Volunteer Fire Brigade (CFA) for over twenty years. In that time, we have held many positions with Christina being the first female captain for the brigade. She performed in this position for six years.

We travel a fair bit and try to target places that have nearby Nature Reserves, National Parks and Wetlands. Chasing sunsets is a habit of ours too. Op Shopping is always on the agenda in nearby towns.

We don't own a caravan. and our normal sitting duration is 4 to 10 days.

We returned to a spotless house and happy animals. They provided great peace of mind while we were away and we would certainly recommend them to others and have them back here again.
We had the pleasure of having John and Christina house-sit for us, and we couldn't be more impressed with their care and attention. Over the 5 nights they stayed, they took exceptional care of our 5 chickens, veggie gardens, and indoor plants. We were devastated that John and Christina couldn’t do our sit. We developed COVID for the first time ever and had to cancel at the very last minute. They still came to our town and kept in contact. Sadly I couldn’t even meet with them as hubby was in hospital the whole time. Thank you so much for being so understanding and we hope to have you back another time

John and Christina were extremely obliging in changing their own plans and agreeing to come early following the airline debacle with Bonza's downfall and us having to rebook tickets which affected our departure and return times

John and his partner were wonderful. They looked after our place and left it in an immaculate condition. Our dog, Lennon was so well looked after and given so much attention. It was lovely to come home to a very happy dog. Communication with John was fantastic. We would highly recommend this couple to look after your place and your pets. We met John and Chris on day of departure and immediately felt comfortable with their warm and friendly nature. Both John and Chris bonded immediately with our beloved fur baby, and we felt comfortable leaving her and our home in their care. We were able to enjoy a stress-free holiday knowing that both our home and Roxy were well cared for. Upon our return we found both Roxy and our home as we had left it. Extremely happy and thoroughly recommend John and Chris.
John & Christina house sit for us for 5 days and looked after our two beloved dogs. They are clearly very experienced house sitters. Communication was excellent from the start. They arrived on time and asked all the right questions. We were bit anxious, as we this was our fist time using house sitter, but they filled us with confidence within minutes. John and Christina looked after our home on a working farm in South Gippsland in February for 6 days. They were going to also look after our 3 dogs but at the last minute we ended up taking the dogs with us so that wasnt required. We had the pleasure of having John and Christina house sit for us just before Christmas and we could don't be happier. We came back to happy healthy pets and the house was lovely and clean. Communication was perfect and no issues at all.

John & Christina were very easy to communicate with at all times and our Ziggy dog was obviously well cared for during our absence. We returned to a very clean and tidy house. We would not hesitate to recommend John & Christina to house sit and would be pleased to have them back.
Cannot rate John and Christina enough. Communication was great and they were both easy going and were interested in knowing everything they needed to know about our girls.
